Wonderful property in a GREAT location. Thoughtfully decorated and with nice touches. The property is one that multiple generations can enjoy, including those with mobility challenges (elevator and walk-in shower option).
You have nice views and balconies; the “office” area is particularly nice. The beds are very comfortable and there is a nice flow to the property.
The information the owners shared about their favorite places was very helpful. We used several of their recommendations which were “spot on.” They also were very communicative and provided timely information regarding weather projections and potential impacts.
My kids (13,11,10,7) had a blast; enjoying the beach, state park/Wright monument, laser tag, go-carting, and the outlets.
This is in a great location and I HIGHLY recommend this property! It was a widely popular vacation with my family-thanks!

The community was very clean and appeared to be quite new.We enjoyed the fishing more than anything. Our unit was well stocked with everything we needed. The weather was hot and muggy but you can't control that. We would stay there again.

We loved our stay at this condo. The decor and views were amazing. We felt right at home. The condo was very spacious and was perfect for our family of 5. The host went above and beyond and shared their local favorites from restaurants, activities, ice cream shops etc. and described them all. Every restaurant we ate at was a recommendation by them and we were not disappointed one time. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Ps mama Kwan’s fish tacos is a must have when visiting!

The condo was beautifully appointed and spotless. It had everything we needed for a great stay. Communication with the owners was great. They gave us an awesome list of area highlights, must sees, and restaurants. Really helped! We will stay there again when in OBX!

The condo was even better than the pictures showed it to be. It was clean and well equiped. The furniture was very comfortable and the beds all slept really well. We were pleased that the complex was quiet and well kept. Our favorite things were the front and back balconies. What a treat to be able to pick your view. We saw some beautiful sunsets from the back deck. I hope to be able to come back for another stay soon!

We enjoyed spending time in the sunroom watching the Osprey nest and the parents feeding two babies and even saw a pod of 6 or 8 dolphins.
The unit is very nice and so convenient to Manteo and Nags Head. The hosts had many helpful recommendations for things to do as well as restaurant suggestions.
We are very much looking forward to returning.

We have stayed a lot of different places in Manteo but this lovely condo was the best. First the location is perfect with beautiful views on both sides of condo. We saw amazing sunsets and amazing sunrises! The inside of this condo was beautiful. I am a very clean person so when I go somewhere I expect it to be the same and this condo was super clean. The colors of the walls and all the artwork was perfect for a beach condo. The kitchen had everything you could want. Also you have balconies off of two of the bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms very nice too. The owners were pleasant and answered every question I had. This will be our place to stay when we come back to Manteo. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant at your beautiful condo.

Loved our stay. Cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. TY! Tall porch chairs are great. Would be nice to have 4 with arms on smaller deck outside queen bed room. It would be helpful to have written instructions for TV that we could have used. That was our only issue. Thank you so much for a great stay. Dorothy

The condo is as advertised. It is professionally decorated with quality furniture and fun artwork on all the walls. The kitchen is well equipped and absolutely clean. We enjoyed the water views on both sides of the condo. My favorite thing was sitting on the deck listening to the water lap in the marina. The deck furniture was top quality and clean. The owners have obviously paid attention to detail. The location was close to all the historical sights we wanted to see. Of all the condos I have ever rented, this one is the nicest. We would love to stay here again in the future.

From the moment we booked, until the moment we checked out, we had an exceptional experience. The hosts offered a list of places to eat and things to do beforehand, simplifying vacation planning. We used many of their recommendations, and loved each of them. The property was very disability friendly, being all on one floor, with an elevator that went right from the parking spot to the front door. The rental was clean, well maintained, and offered incredible views, comfortable beds, and all the amenities we needed. The surrounding area was also wonderful! Downtown Manteo was darling, with lots of quaint shops and places to eat and benches to stop and take it all in. We'll definitely be back.

The unit itself is very nicely furnished and quite spacious. It's located close enough to Manteo proper for easy access to and from town. The hosts were very accommodating leaving/emailing us ample information about the area, and it's places of interest for tourists including choice dining recommendations...which were spot on. We had been to OBX many times before but our friends had not. Although very familiar with the area, the hosts still provided some interesting information that we also found most useful.

The condo was one of the best rentals we have done through VRBO. The location was great; peaceful and quiet, yet still close to everything. The unit itself was clean and well appointed. The owners were responsive and a pleasure to work with. They provided us a list of suggestions for things to do, places to eat, etc. That were very helpful. We really enjoyed our vacation!

Our family enjoyed our first trip to the Outer Banks at Sounds Fishy! It's a beautiful and spacious condo near the waters of the bay in Manteo. The place was really clean, well kept, and provided all the comforts you can have in a home away from home. The owners were very nice and informative in our communications. We definitely would like to stay at Sounds Fishy again when we come back to the Outer Banks and highly recommend to others!

Everything about this trip was perfect! The location, the size and expectation of this property were all spot on. Although not beach front, the location allowed us to try different beaches each day. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to be comfortable and the layout was exactly as listed. I highly recommend!!

We chose to stay in Manteo as a central location so we could explore Corolla, Duck as well as Pea Island, Hatteras and Ocracoke. The location was perfect, right over the bridge, and so close to a great coffee place, right on the water to watch the sunset over the bay, and close to downtown Manteo for some shopping and the light house, plus Kill Devil Rum distillery! We also took two rides to the mainland to see the bear at the Alligator River Refuge.
The condo was clean, spacious and perfect for our family! We highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at the condo in Manteo. The online pictures do not do it justice. It was spotless upon our arrival, was inviting and comfortable, and had everything we needed during our stay. Robert and Lisa were very easy to work with, and responded to all of our questions in a timely manner. The check in/check out process was very easy. The condo is in a great location and provided beautiful views of the sound and the marina. We would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in vacationing in the Outer Banks!

This was our first visit to OBX, and we loved it. The condo is immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the views from the balconies are gorgeous. There are groceries, restaurants, and shops within walking distance.
We were at first disappointed that the hot tub is not operational, but as it turned out, we were so busy I don't know when we would have had time to use it!
We did a tour to see the wild horses, went fishing with Backin' Up Sportfishing Charters, went on an airboat ride, and took the ferry to visit Okracoke! The kids enjoyed playing pool and ping pong at the clubhouse.
Robert and Lisa were very easy to communicate with, and provided compensation for a minor inconvenience.
We would most definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent week in Manteo. Property was just as described, everything in excellent condition. Great views in all directions, kids and grandparents both loved the birdwatching from the balcony. Had bikes delivered and they were ready and waiting, easy paths to get into downtown Manteo plus the north parts of Roanoke Island. Easy access to food, historic sites, waterfronts, and quick drives to both sound and beach access was great.
Went to quite a few of the places recommended by our hosts and all were excellent. Just had to be a little careful about times and days everything was open since it was technically off-season.
