Location is fantastic, walkable to the Bayterek Tower, signing fountains and if you are really up for a long walk then you can make it to Khan Shatyr!

Airport transfer at night was very expensive -10,000 KZT. The gym didn’t have air conditioning and reception were to manage the air con in your room which was rather annoying. You also needed a different keycard to access the gym. Poor choices at breakfast and overall not your usual Best Western standard.

Perfect location, good service, clean rooms, very good hotel for this price.

Breakfast quality is medium, I got some outdated sausages and personnel is also a bit rude. If you stay in the dining room even 1 minute later than breakfast finish time they start aggressively switch on / off the lights and demonstrate how angry they are.

After my great experience at a Best Western in Tbilisi in August, I decided to book here. My number one complaint is that there were bedbugs -- it was -7 Celsius when I arrived in Astana, so it seems very unlikely that that the bites on my stomach and legs that kept appearing each morning were obtained outside the room. After I complained, the staff immediately moved me. When I was shown the new room, the employee asked if it was suitable for me. I responded that I wouldn't know yet. It would depend on whether there were bedbugs here too. He mumbled something quietly about it not being as bad in the middle of the floor. Based on that response, they obviously know this problem exists ... The breakfast absolutely sucked. I've seen many bad sausages in post-Soviet countries, but nothing as disgusting as what was served here. Wifi barely worked.

Good hotel for a short stay in Almaty. Clean and tidy. Exactly what we need. Breakfast is okay.

Due to winter beginning they did not have the AC ON, it felt stuffy. You will need to keep your window open to get some air.
