Very spacious it was great for all the age levels we had

There were 21 of us and our time at this property was so enjoyable! There was sufficient space and accommodations were good. The big back yard and patio with the beach close by was great for our little ones. The big table and well stocked kitchen helped make the stay enjoyable.

We had plenty of room. The house is well supplied with dishes,silverware,utensils and towels. There is no extra bedding,so bring blankets if you get cold easily. It's a nice location. Adults can walk to Lake Michigan beaches,but you need to drive with supplies and children. The house is enormous with lots of different areas. We had plenty of room for extended family and the yard is big for outdoor playing. One thing,the first floor bath was used by my 92 year old inlaws and the shower was very slippery with no grab bars. We bought a mat for the shower floor,but maybe some kind of bars would be good. The bed and bath are perfectly situated for someone with mobility issues though. Not a luxury home,but great for a big family to sprawl in.

The best thing that we can say about this property is that it was clean upon arrival, close to a great State Park (less than a mile), and had plenty of yard and space to spread out for the whole family. The negatives: The home was very well used- tired and not kept up. The impression was that this was not a pride and joy location for the owner or property manager. The beds were very poor quality - some were unsleepable even. The mattresses were saggy or rock hard, or not even a mattress at all but an inch of foam on a box spring. Very dissatisfying when trying to sleep for a week. The pull out couch did not have a fitted sheet and when we asked the property manager why there wasn't enough sheets I did not even get a response. The kitchen was lacking in utensils and cookware for 24 people. The garage and outdoor spaces were filthy and not kept up. Overall just very disappointing for the amount of money spent for a family vacation.

This property's positives were the proximity to the beach and the size of the home, as well as the cleanliness. That's it. For the price of staying here it was seriously lacking many things: 1. Sheets for all the listed beds (beds need to be upgraded I might add) 2. Enough pots/pans for the amount of people on site 3. Communication with Site Manager (didn't even get back to me when I asked for the sheets for the fold out) 4. It was obvious that no one had been in to fix repairs that were needed for quite some time (holes in the walls, toilet paper holder was coming off the wall, the garage was filthy, etc) 5. Just overall overrated

Our family stayed here for a week and enjoyed our stay. The home is very large with multiple seating and TV areas. It was perfect for our needs.

House is large and clean. Tons of beds to sleep in with a good size kitchen and grill. Yard is huge and backs up to a golf course.

It was a little like camping, If you have ever rented or owned a camper well the beds and water were very similar. Over all we had a good time and were satisfied with the house, Lots of space to spread out and very outdoorsey, but if you are looking for luxury keep looking. Going to the beach will require loading up and driving over. We did enjoy the fire pit every night and the mini mart so close was a big plus as well. I can see where some folks would leave a bad review (you are spoiled get over yourself ) for the most part it was good and we made some great memories with the kids.

The only con is that in four of the bedrooms half the mattresses are great and half are absolutely horrible. They are really hard, lumpy and probably old futons. For the price of the rental I would expect a little better. Overall a great place!

Our experience with Evolve was horrible. I was very cooperative with explaining all the problems we had with the house and provided them with photos of the false advertising and photos of screenshots of our communication with the representative in Whitehall, MI. They came back with a statement that we did not provide documentation and that their decision was non negotiable. What does that even mean when documentation was sent? What more proof could I have sent? The headline for this house was Large home with hot tub - Walk to Lake Michigan. It was dangerous for adults to walk and impossible for children. It was over a mile to the lake on a road with 45 mile per hour traffic and no shoulder or sidewalk. The hot tub was cloudy and dirty when we arrived on a Saturday and it took until Thursday for someone to come and clean it. Trash pick up was on a Wednesday and garbage cans were full when we arrived. Lights were burnt out and rooms were dark. Dishwasher would stop mid cycle and have to be restarted. Freezer door handle was missing so difficult to open. Legs on corn hole game were missing and bean bags were leaking. Bathroom on main level had a slow drain that we called about early in our stay and was fully clogged by mid week. After no response bought Drano and a plunger and fixed it ourselves. This bathroom was for 2 bedrooms (5 people) and had no hooks or surfaces for clothes and toiletries. The garage had a garage door opener but no remote so was pretty useless for coming and going. They said there was a grill for a large group. The gas part did not work and the charcoal part was too small to be of any use for 20 people. The front room and game room were very dark and there were burnt out lights throughout the house. The basement had a large water leak near the end of our stay which they did come to vacuum up. This was a house that we spent over $1000 per day on which turned out to be so overpriced. The false advertising and the poor response by Evolve is inexcusable and we will be warning others about this house snd this company.

A traditional notebook of instructions would have been nice: “which of the 4 thermostats takes care of which part of the house.” A lamp in the front, large and comfortable living room would have been nice to read away from the tv and game room noise. A bedside table and clock in each bedroom would have been nice. Seasonings beyond salt and pepper would have been nice. You’re welcome for the Tabasco, cinnamon, and sugar. The supply of flatware, glassware, plates and bowls was fabulous! Thank you! A bath towel for each member of our group would have been nice. Enough propane, or a spare tank, or enough charcoal to cook at least one meal would have been nice. More coat hangers in each closet would have been nice. 10 for the larger rooms? The stay was everything we had hoped for! It's a great, open space (indoor/outdoor) with ample room for a good size group of people. Everything was clean and my guest contact was very responsive. We had an issue with the coffee maker the first day, and she was out to the house with a brand new coffee maker that night so we could have coffee for the following morning.

The space was great and a perfect relaxing weekend getaway for our friend group. The hot tub and game room were truly the best parts!Only complaint was that the coffee maker did not work so please plan accordingly.

The house was beautiful and very comfortably fit our whole family. The short walk to the lake was convenient. Would definitely come back.

The house is as shown. The location was great for walking, golfing and the beach is a short walk away. The back yard was large for games.

Lots of room and nearby activities

Nice quiet neighborhood, mom & pop store was pleasantly close in walking distance and they had anything you needed. The few issues were the property manager not being reachable and we had ants on the back patio which everyone was bitten multiple times. I couldn’t reach the property manager about the ants so I called customer service and was told they would reach out to the manager but we never heard back from anyone.

We were Blessed with a wonderful stay. Plenty of place for 18 of our family to get together. Grandpa and Grandma enjoyed having our kids and grand kids all together before one son and his family leaves for Germany were the teach at a boarding school for missionary kids. We had a wonderful time full of memories. Wonderful location and would choose this house again.
