Ładny pokój za przystępną cenę. Hotel położony z dala od dzielnic turystycznych, co jest wadą i zaletą. Wada, że wszędzie jest stosunkowo daleko, do City musisz dojechać autobusem, do MRT również. Zaleta, jesteś zanurzony w lokalnej społeczności. Przez niemal 10 dni naszego pobytu na ulicach nie spotkaliśmy Europejczyka. Byliśmy egoztycznym ptakiem dla miejscowych, ale to Azjaci, ich wysoka kultura nie pozwala się na ciebie gapić. Hotel jest blisko bazaru z jedzeniem, chodziliśmy tam niemal codziennie, ceny bardzo przystępne.

Dzielnice poza turystycznym centrum przeczą mitom o ultraczystym Singapurze. Tutaj śmieci znajdziesz na chodniku i trawnikach, co mi się nie podobało, to jednak nie wpływa na ocenę hotelu. Hotel próbował zedrzeć ze mnie dopłatę do lepszego pokoju ponad 850$ podczas gdy na booking było to 110$. BARDZO mi się to nie podobało, tłumaczenie było kuriozalne: on line opłata jest niższa, u nich na recepcji wyższa. Na szczęście doszliśmy do konsensusu. Popełniają błędy, ale natychmiast starają się je naprawić z nawiązką. Do apartamentu (bo to hotel apartamentowy) wchodzi się przez wspólny korytarzyk z sąsiednim pokojem i jeśli kiepsko trafisz na sąsiadów, ich trzaskanie drzwiami i głosne rozmowy mogą być irytujące. Niektóre pokoje wychodzą na autostradę i ciągły szum może denerwować. Za pokój z jedną sypialnią jest niewielka dopłata, a bardzo polecam, komfort jest nieporównywalny ze studio.

If you’re looking for good hotels, that is well located, but also with a friendly and courteous staff, look elsewhere. The staff can’t spell hospitality if it was dancing in front of them. Stay away, there are plenty of better options on the island.

Been to many places, but Citadines Balestier is the only place that makes me feel like home. Staffs were super welcoming upon checking in with detailed explanation. The room setup feels super great, with good amount of lighting and best ventilation i have ever get in a hotel room ( unlike other hotel that are freezing cold and humid after shower). Room was spacious, great even for a parent + 1 kid. Plus point for the kitchennette that was super complete, anything you need can be found. Love their design of bathroom that are spacious with separated dry and wet area, great lighting. Every nook and corner of the room is super clean. Housekeeper( an Indian lady whom i didnt get the name) is super welcoming and generous. Property is great and at promoting environmental friendly measures. Didnt want to leave at all, as it really gives me a feeling like home. Will come back for sure.

Slightly far from attractions but with bus stop just right under the property , everywhere can be reached easily.

The location is brilliant. Amazing to have a durian stall just metres away (although you're not allowed to bring durians into the property!).

The smell of the bathroom was bad (from the sink/sewer). I didn't like that other guests left their rubbish (mostly takeaway boxes) outside their unit in the lift lobby!

room was very clean and comfortable, space was larger than regular hotel room (for 2 pax) and hence good value for money, enjoyed the washing machine, living area with nice sofa against lovely city skyline, toilet was clean and comfortable, helpful staff

we were limited to total of 4 pillows per room and couldn't request for more, would kindly suggest citadines to increase or remove this cap as number of pillows greatly affects quality of sleep. parking is also payable by guests (about $1.50/h and a cap of $5 during night time) which is unfortunate as it increased our total cost of stay

Ausblick auf die Stadt war soweit sehr nett. Wir waren im 13. Stock von 27. Etwas höher wäre natürlich noch etwas schöner gewesen aber dennoch zufrieden. Zimmer hätten wir noch etwas grösser erwartet, doch auch okay. Wirklich gut ist die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Direkt vor dem Hotel ist eine Bushaltestelle mit der man in Kombination weiterer U-Bahnen und Busse schnell sehr zentral in der Stadt ist (20min etwa bis zur grossen Shopping Strasse)

Frühstück hätten wir gerne mit im Preis gehabt, doch wird laut Rezeption generell nicht über Booking.com angeboten. Zimmerservice wird nur Mo,Mi,Fr angeboten. Wenn dann ein Tag wie bspw. Fr eine jedoch nicht so gut passt, ist es wiederum sehr doof, da dann von Mi bis Mo kein Service da ist! Am meisten enttäuscht hat uns das warm-wasser. Dusche hat irgendwie immer nur für 5min halbwegs warmes bis heisses Wasser und dann erst wiedern nach einigen Stunden. Zumindest wird die zweite Person immer kalt bis lau-warm duschen müssen! Wirklich nicht akzeptabel. Wir haben es nur ausgehalten als Erfrischung nach dem heissen Tag in der Stadt. Morgens jedoch nicht nach dem aufstehen!

Geräumiges und sauberes Zimmer, bequemes Bett, gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile (Schwamm & Spülmittel waren vorhanden) und ein toller Blick aus der Dusche! Klimaanlage und Internet waren auch gut. Kleiner Supermarkt direkt im Hotel und auch ein Cafè in dem es unter anderem Frühstück gab (haben wir aber nicht ausprobiert). Der Poolbereich war ebenfalls sehr schön, sauber und relativ großzügig. Frische Poolhandtücher gab es dort kostenlos und zur freien Verfügung. Es stand im Zimmer ein großer Wasserkrug bereit, mit dem man sich jederzeit frisches kaltes oder heißes Wasser am Wasserspender in der 6. Etage holen konnte. Dort gab es auch Waschmaschinen + Trockner, die man für 8 SGD benutzen konnte. Es war insgesamt alles neu, schön und sauber - genauso wie man es auf den Hotelbildern sieht.

The property was located in a very convenient neighborhood with easy access to public transport and enough restaurants and shopping malls around. The facilities were excellent, the room was very well designed and maintained. It had all the amenities required as well. The staff was always responsive and were very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered us a free late checkout to accommodate our late flight as well. Amazing service, excellent property, and great staff!

Nothing at all to complain

I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but downstairs there was a good cafe where I got to eat a healthy meal. I liked the most the quietness of the room.

It's not so close to the MRT.

Pool was good after hot day out.

There was a bad smell on our floor, like cooking or garbage, every day. No restaurant or bar in hotel.

Cleanliness is our top criteria and we got what we are looking for.

Someone set the alarm at midnight and we got disturbed when it set off. Perhaps, it would be great if the hotel reset all alarm setting as a standard checklist for making up the room for a new guest.
