Janice and Teresa are excellent hosts. The property is lovely and beautifully maintained. It is also very secure if you have a car. Very close to Obidos and located in a small quaint town. The room had a comfortable bed, a good bathroom and everything was very clean and tidy. We had direct access to the porch with a table. Coffee and tea are right in the room and a small fridge with water and milk. Breakfast was quite a spread and delicious. It included fresh fruit, toast, croissants, meat, cheese, scrambled eggs, cereal, yogurt and the famous Portuguese pastry, Pastie da nata. All this will last you all day. Be sure and try the ginjinha port which was in the room. It is a delicious port made from cherries. Fantastic! We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

I totally enjoyed my days in your house. Thank you, Janice and Theresa, I felt welcome from the very first minute. You managed creating a space where I felt comfortable and familiar like at home, but enjoyed the benefits of your service, especially in the morning with the best breakfast I had during my stay here in Portugal. you were always available for conversations and easy to connect with, at the same time letting me have my needed privacy. I took the challenge to walk to the obidos castle and was surprised by a wonderful scenery beside the main road. I am grateful for my time at your place. See you next time!

Friendliness, quietness, cleanliness. Hosts couldn’t do enough for you. Great breakfast. Rooms with excellent bedding were well heated although we were there during a cold spell in March. Safe parking on the spot.

My husband and I had a great time at Casa das Palmas! Hosts were super attentive and nice, the room was spacious, quiet, bed super comfortable, and breakfast tasty and varied. All in all, a perfect stay.

Clean room, good equipments, parking space for the car. Quiet location. Very good breakfast. Lovely hosts, welcoming and helpful. We appreciated the special attentions (free coffee/milk, sample of local liquor...). We would definitely stay there again!

It is far from the old village, so you need to drive there. But really not a problem, honestly.

Great hosts from the little touches in the room to the breakfast, that was absolutely delicious! We checked in later and found that the hosts had left fresh water in the coffee machine as well as the kettle along with fresh milk and bottled water in the mini fridge. Loved, loved our stay here and will come back again! Thank you so much for looking after us!

We were very pleased with everything at Casa das Palmas. The room was spotless and exceedingly comfortable. The hosts provided a level of comfort that they would want themselves. Super warm and friendly!

The hosts are really nice. The room is large and clean. Two cute dogs and one adorable cat! The breakfast is super good! Everything is perfect and we would have loved to stay longer actually!

We travel a lot, but rarely have we experienced such warm hospitality. Janice and Terry went out of their way to make us feel at home and spoiled us even with apparently minute details such as a bottle of jinjinya in the room and fruit for the way. They reserved a table for us at a superb restaurant across the street. In other words, next time we are in Portugal, we will make a point of staying there again.

What have we disliked? That we needed to leave.

The owners were exceptionally customers oriented and provided bests services.

It was a wonderful surprise! The room was comfortable with a lot of space and everything was tidy. The hosts were really friendly, always in contact with us in case we needed any help or recommendations and they even left us some treats in our room. The breakfast was delicious. We felt like we were home. Without a doubt it's a place we want to revisit sometime.

Anne and Wes are friendly and very helpfull. The breakfast was great and a good and relaxed start of the day . It is a must to stay at their place when visiting Obidos or surroundings.

Wes and Anne's hospitality was second to none. They went out of their way to assist us when needed. The B&B was very comfortable with good parking and the breakfasts were fantastic with many choices.

We had no dislikes.
