Lovely location , wonderful ambience , super duper comfortable beds!

A very well arranged, eclectic and somewhat eccentrically decorated property. Good WiFi and general facilities throughout on the whole. Indeed, one of the lamps was so amazing we want to buy one! Very clean and clearly well maintained, with a really comfortable bed, though a somewhat uncontrollable blind in the bedroom we used. However, 3* from us, but we I feel we are hardly the target clientele. The owners have done a remarkable job of creating a comfortable environment for larger groups, however to relax in? Absolutely, Yes, though temperature dependent. See below... The Beach is almost immediately accessible on the other side of the busy road directly opposite the property.

However, it is clearly designed for bigger parties than my wife and I, and the hosts should be conscious to amend their rules when only two people are staying, or indeed, amend their listing to demonstrate as much so it is immediately obvious. Admittedly, booked on impulse thinking a small house and, obviously, immediately non-refundable. A welcome pack that is not an innocuous A4 folder, containing badly printed text and some of the most comedically terrible typos that we have ever seen. Inadequate storage for ones bags and dreadful overhead lights. Thankfully, there were unused bedrooms, and therefore we took one each to dump our belongings in that clearly couldn't fit in the slightly broken wardrobe. Spotlights... Who finds them relaxing? Not us. A lovely lamp that doesn't work because it's miles from the nearest plug socket. And a peculiar bedside lamp, on the floor, that doesn't work properly and feels a bit dangerous. A wonderful hob... Which we could only figure out how to use after visiting the manufacturers website. A genuinely fantastically created front garden area with a pond and water feature, grey gravel driveway, lovely plants and an outdoor seating that you'll never use due to the immediate proximity to the road and constant traffic (unless you enjoy that kind of thing, of course). And Traffic, have I mentioned that.... We live in a nice quiet place. The constant traffic noise at the property and the property's proximity to it is absolutely dreadful. I had never considered, even to a small degree, how unimaginably busy that small road immediately outside could be. For those pondering ethics and environmentalists... Décor featuring genuine ivory and leopard hide are not particularly well received at all, whether antique or not. Don't have a small bathroom decorative bin, and thrust a black bin bag into it. Whilst I'm mentioning Bathrooms... Seriously, a shelf or a cabinet for personal toiletries!

Location was lovely beach over the road, good transport/roads. Lots of places to visit in close proximity. Comfy , exceptionally clean property with good facilities.

Bit surprised there wasn’t a hairdryer.

Perfect location for Kent coast, quiet area. Visited loads of coastal towns, and went to white cliffs of Dover on way home, as recommended by Denis
