Bungalow in private, breakfast was very good.

The most expensive accommodation of all 8 nights in Iceland and the absolute weakest. But we had no other choice. The bungalow has old equipment. Very poor value for money.

Reception was very easy to find. The gentleman got us checked in quickly. The bungalow was away from the main property. The lodging had a kitchenette.

The loft area of the lodging was dusty and neither of the beds up there had sheets. There was only one pillow and it was covered with blue paint that peeled when you touched it. The toilet ran constantly so we ended up shutting it off so it could be quiet. The bathroom heater didn't work. The mattresses in the main area were fine but the one pillow they had was very squishy. The breakfast was really great. They had pastries, eggs, sausage, beans, cereal, fruit, lunchmeat, cheese, and oatmeal. The coffee machine was on the fritz, but they did have regular coffee.

Very different location and really liked having a restaurant on site. We also got a free upgrade.

Seemed a little dated. Carpets were worn and halls didn’t have much light. Rooms didn’t have any place to sit except hard chairs or the bed. We’d really like to have a lighter alternative to the duvet that seems to be standard in rooms. They are just too hot, but nothing is not warm enough.

We booked a bungalow but ended up being "upgraded" to a room. The room was nice, with a little balcony attached. Staff is really friendly. Breakfast was superb.

Receptionist was very frendly and she proposed us to sleep into Hotel Laki, because in bungalows it could get too cold.

Breakfast could be improved in quality food.

Comfy and cozy for one night. Cabins are perfect for a couple and a kid 🌼

The location is very convenient to major tourist attractions in the area. This is really about the only thing we really liked a lot.

The bungalow was a bit primitive and not updated to meet the expectations of modern travelers (except maybe as an upgrade from camping in a tent).

We were upgraded to a hotel room instead of the bungalows which was a bonus after seeing the bungalows. Great views from the bar!

Toaster didn’t work

We had booked one of the bungalows but were offered a hotel room on arrival and accepted as it was more convenient for accessing restaurant etc. The room was very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Good shower, nice bed, two comfy chairs and a desk. Location is ideal for a touring holiday of the south and east of Iceland. Easy to find and good road access. Breakfast was the best we had in Iceland and we had a delicious dinner on our first night. Parking outside. Very quiet location with great views from the restaurant.
