The house was perfect for our needs. Very comfortable. Very clean. The owners live next door and were the kindest, most welcoming people. There is a very good local restaurant just up the street, within walking distance, which made our stay even better. Would stay here again!!

Our family of 4 (with 2 teens) enjoyed our stay at the townhouse. It's a short walk to beach and there are many restaurants close by. Everything was clean and comfortable, and host was amazing. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others!

Cannot say enough good things! Owners and owners mother were an absolute delight! Home was clean and stocked and spacious. We came as a group of 4 adults and had plenty of space for each individual. We dove with Stuart's Cove who has a pick up location a short walk away at Sun Fun Resort and dropped us off at the end of our street. Bus stop is at the end of the street, but times are hard to judge, however cab drivers are plentiful and cost about $30 from house to downtown and about $45 from house to Atlantis, and about $20 to the nearest grocery store, however it is also within a long walk distance. Beach is right at the end of the street and so is a top notch restaurant Nesbit's, and a short walk to 2 other delicious restaurants the Twisted Lime and the Poop Deck and a drink/food shack called the Pink Shack. Phenomenal trip, incredible welcoming locals, and hosts that make you feel like family!

Very close to the beach - one block, in nice and safe neighborhood, reasonable priced. The mother of the host - Jackie was welcoming and friendly. The place just needs more maintenance and upgrades.

My family had an amazing time in Nassau. This location was close to everything and beach was a short walk. Beautiful beaches. Karen was so easy to communicate with and lives next door. Thank you Karen for your hospitality!

Our stay at Karen’s was nice but not great. We really only used the property for sleep and cooking breakfast. There are some amazing beaches nearby but they’re about a 10 minute walk. We were even able to utilize some beach chairs/umbrellas that were available at the Sandyport beach. Karen had a great supply of towels that were very helpful throughout the trip and the AC worked great and was very easy to use. The beds were firm but after a day on the beach we didn’t have much trouble falling asleep. We were woken up a couple of mornings as there was construction going on in the backyard and on the side of the building. One of the mornings being some very loud banging at 8 AM on our bedroom wall. We asked if this would be consistent through the week and Karen was able to have the workers arrive 1-2 hours later for the rest of the week. We were not aware of the construction until 2 days before we were arriving, so there wasn’t much we could do in terms of accommodations at that point. The area the house is located gets very dark at night and there are not any sidewalks on the road until we got to the Sandyport residential areas so we made sure to be home before dark every night. Overall we had a great vacation. People in Bahamas are amazing and there are good restaurants nearby. Bus access downtown takes about 30 minutes and is pretty straightforward. The beach was a very short walk where you could do some decent snorkeling. If you are looking for a resort-like home, this wouldn't be it. It had all that you needed, just a bit out-dated. If you're looking for no-frills and basic necessities, I would recommend staying here. There is a local restaurant, Nesbitt, really close, and a really cute Pink Shack where you should try the sky juice and conch fritters.

The pictures make the house look bright, its not as nice as photos make it look. The place has a mildew smell and is very run down. There was toothbrushes and toothpaste in the spare bathroom downstairs. The sheets had a funny smell and the upstairs carpet upstairs is HORRIBLE. For some, this place is doable, but it is not worth this price.

Beach across the road and bus access to anywhere. Our week cost less than one night at the big resorts!

Nice quiet local neighborhood close to everything. It was cool while we were there and the ability to open all the windows would have been nice but we were asked not to do that. Really comfortable bed, couch not so much. Owner left nice welcome gifts for us. Good value.

Enjoyed the convenience of the location but it was important to have a rental car to get around. Rental could use a new refrigerator. Beds are comfy. Thanks

very close to beach, restaurants, bus routes. there was no phone or bbq, we had our cell phone, but a bbq would have been nice. Maintenance is an issue. No working smoke detector, dryer was so hot on top couldn't touch it, took long time to dry clothes, probably vent plugged, half the light bulbs didn't work. Very nice owners.

My friends and I were looking for a quality vacation at a decent price and this place was perfect! One of the owners, Karen, was so nice and helpful. We left the keys inside one time and we called Karen and she was very understanding and has the door unlocked when we returned from our outing. This is not a tourist area, lots of locals are here and are always very friendly. Great location only a 5 minute walk to a beach you basically will get to yourself. There is a delicious restaurant right up the court, as well as a bus stop which comes in handy so much especially if you’re not renting a car. The beds were comfy and clean as well as the shower which is very important to me. My friends and I had an amazing time here. Thank you so much!

We stayed here July 2019 with our two children, ages 8 and 10. The location was close to the airport and right near a clean beach. The house had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner. The AC in the upstairs master froze on us the first night, but was working ok the remainder of the time. The mattress in the master bedroom was very hard, but we were so exhausted because of fun in the sun it didn’t prevent us from falling asleep. Very clean home. There was a lot of standing water right outside the home, which caused mosquitos to gather at dusk, so bring your bug spray. Neighborhood was quiet and easy access in/out.

I would totally recommend this property to any one looking to have a home away from home. This townhome has the perfect location, close to all the attractions, restaurants and the ocean. The property is immaculate very peaceful and serene atmosphere. You and your family will have a awesome time staying at this townhome. The owners are extremely pleasant and will make sure your stay is a pleasure. Enjoy your time in the Bahamas one of the greatest vacations spots I've been to.
