The property was just what we needed. It was clean and the furnishings were excellent. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equiped. Loved the deck, the view and the privacy. Just a couple of suggestions. We loved the Beach Club. But the music was rather annoying in the evening when I would rather be listening to the surf. My husband had a couple of suggestions. It would be nice to have some lamps in the living room instead of the harsh overhead lighting. Safety rail in the shower of the Master bath. Hooks in both bathrooms to hang towels and clothing. Other than that, wonderful accomodations! We will return!

The commission with property owner was great. The property was superficially clean noticed very dirty floors on arrival when cleaning up dropped ice. The front office was not the most pleasant to deal with but thankfully it was a short interaction. There are no restaurants or adequate shopping within 15 to 20 minutes of the property. So the beach was very nice and not overcrowded. I would return for a much longer stay with the knowledge of restaurant availability being slim.

A great getaway to the beach with all the comfort and conveniences. Best pool on the island with great covered parking and great elevator service to the condominium. All of this within a short walking distance.

Beautiful condo - very comfortably decorated living room and bedrooms; kitchen well stocked with all conveniences (we cooked and ate in several times at dining table for four) - our favorite spot was the balcony sitting on a rocking chair watching the waves and hummingbirds - highly recommend this condo in Pointe West

Nice condo with a great location. Even though it rained Friday night and Saturday was cooler than expected I enjoyed the balcony and the beach view we had. Condo had everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend. James is such a great host and so easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again!

This condo was just as pictured. Beautiful inside and out. Very clean and had all the amenities you would need, including beach towels. Furniture on the balcony comfy and nice to have option of a tall table and chairs to eat meals out there. Beds were also comfortable. Hand soap at every sink, kitchen cleaners, extra bags for trash can. Super handy parking, elevator to 3rd floor to condo door, check-in was easy. Beach Club huge plus in nice, warm weather. Quiet end of the island, but found plenty of places to eat. Truly delightful week.

We had the most amazing time here! Everything was top notch. Communication, check-in, location, amenities were all outstanding. Condo was very comfortable & roomy. Everything we could have asked for was provided. James @ Best of the West was extremely easy to work with making sure we had all the check-in information. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony & taking in the sounds of the ocean. BEST location ever! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful beachfront condo. Great location. Right on the beach and next door to the beach club and pool. Nicely decorated and had all of the basic supplies we needed. I would highly recommend!

My family loved this property and the location! We were able to get to and from the beach so quickly and easily which was perfect for traveling with a toddler. Also, we loved the views from the balcony!

James’s condo was beautiful and clean. Clean is if the utmost importance to me when looking for a property. It is decorated with great taste and the location, which is oceanfront, is perfect. The balcony had very comfortable gliders, rockers, and a table/chairs. I spent the majority of my time on the balcony when we’re were in the condo listening to the ocean waves and enjoying nature. The condo is just steps from the walkway to take you to the beach and also is a few steps around the corner to the Beach Club. James made available beach towels and chairs along with a wagon to make getting items to the beach simple. He contacted me to make sure we got into the condo ok, and responded promptly to anything we needed. You will not be disappointed staying here!!

Our beachfront condo was pristine with amazing ocean views. A fantastic location for relaxing and enjoying the beach and two swimming pools. We will plan to visit again next season.

Very nice property with convenient parking. Resort restaurant and pool were very nice. Easy walk to beach. A little far from outside restaurants., but great for a quiet non-crowded getaway.

This was a great condo. The location in the complex was one of the best. It is facing the beach for great views and is in the building right next door to the big pool which makes a much shorter walk. Overall the condo was clean and just as pictured in the listing. I will definitely like to stay here again.

This property was perfect for our 3 generation family. The elevator made it so easy for me (grandmother in my 70s) to be able to access the condo. The gorgeous views from the large and comfortable balcony meant that I could enjoy the beach from the comfort of the rocking chair while the rest of the family walked from the nearby boardwalk to the beautifully maintained beach. The condo was spotlessly clean and the manager was very communicative. We especially enjoyed the well supplied kitchen for cooking our own meals although we did get a to-go lunch from the convenient club one evening and it was very good. As others have mentioned, this side of the beach is a good distance from the larger grocery stores so I would advise you to plan accordingly. We have stayed on West beach many times and prefer this area over the more high traffic areas closer to town. The only issue I would point out is that some of the furnishings differ from the posted pictures if that is an issue for you. They are still lovely and tasteful although I would have preferred that the side chairs in the living room be more upholstered for comfort because we like to relax and watch movies at night. But that was not a deal breaker and we would be very happy to stay here again.

This was a great value in a fairly quiet area on the west end of the island. The property was in good shape, comfortable beds, well equipped with the basics. It was just what we needed for a relaxing long weekend. Communications with property manager were answered almost immediately.

The stay was so easy and peaceful, the property was clean and James was incredibly communicative and responsive.

This was a great place for 4 adults to stay. It has an unobscured view to the beach great for watching the sun rise. It's secluded enough for quiet time, but close enough to Galveston for activities. The property manager is a great communicator and the place exceeded our expectations.

Great facility. We have stayed at Pointe West 6 times. We will be back again. We enjoy the view from our condo and the amenities at Pointe West. The pool is amazing and it is nice to be served drinks and food poolside. The larges balconies I have seen on a condo. We rent one of the 2 bedroom condos which offers an entry to the balcony from the master BR and the living area. The layout of the condo is perfect. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained! We will return next year for our 7th stay at Pointe West!

We enjoyed our time at Pointe West ....lovely accommodations for our family! We were very comfortable and enjoyed the distance to the beach and pool areas.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the condo was perfect! The location to the beach was probably our favorite part. The condo was well stocked with anything you would need and very clean. The covered reserved parking was definitely a plus and the elevator was great to have for packing/unpacking. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Such a relaxing family time! The kids played at the beach and pool all day and we got to enjoy the beautiful views!

Loved the location away from the hustle and bustle of the sea wall. Loved the private beach. Will stay again.
