The apartment is really well-located for walking to the town centre and shops. It's an easy way out of the town too. We found our stay comfortable. We got parked right outside the flat and the host was very quick to respond. We'll be booking again when we return.

We needed somewhere comfortable to sit down and rest after our days of exploring. Nice to also have cooking facilities to allow us to eat when we wished in warm accomodation.

It suited us as we only require basic necessities whilst on holiday and these were well provided so we were happy

Property had everything listed in a convenient location for my commute. Host was outstanding in terms of communication and helpfulness. Good value for money.

Central and convenient location for walking to supermarket, station, shops, river walks etc

Unfortunately we had a string of bad experiences at this flat. It was described as having river views, a dishwasher and a dining table/area. It had none of these. The host has now corrected this on the description. We also discovered that there was no plug or dishwashing bowl for the kitchen sink, the microwave and washing machine didn't work, and the shower arrangement needed a repair. Alex did attend to some of these items very quickly when we reported them. He seemed to be trying his best but the place was generally in need of a good overhaul. It was low-level grimy around the walls and doors, although the basics were clean. We were also woken up both weekend nights by drunken behaviour (people shouting, falling down the stairs outside and playing music at 3.30am in the upstairs flat. Someone also was circling our flat and tried to get in the window of the room my daughter was sleeping in, resulting in the police picking him up). Obviously the owner had no control over this last aspect, but the area is not the best. We left the flat early in the end and to the credit of Alex and booking.com have received a full refund.
