Small room and hot weather - would have been helpful if the back door could be opened to help keep cool.

En suite

Bed was way to high off the ground and the en suite was very small.

Was ideal for us. Somewhere to sleep and get ready for time out.

Bit of a walk to the seafront and station

Everything was great,good value for the money clean and fresh room. Room was good sized and very comfy.

One small thing : there were cobwebs in the corner above the window which didn't bother me at all but some people could take it as not clean.

The whole building was not clean there was isolation tape around the window and it looked as it had been there for about 5 years the shower was constantly dripping the communal areas was absolutely filthy and the rooms was supposed to be serviced no one was there at all incase of a problem and the back door leading to the garden was locked not that we would have sat out there as it was all overgrown and covered in dead leaves

Comfortable and mostly clean. Good value for money. For us the location was perfect. Very well equipped kitchen (shared). A couple of small issues quickly rectified.

The location is good for Southsea area, not too far from the beach etc. Rooms are in a large house - beware walls are quite thin!!!! We could hear other guests.

Good location near railway station and shopping/restaurant facilities. Spacious room and very quiet for a good night's sleep. There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use.

This place is unstaffed and entirely self-catering, meaning that there was a kettle and a mug (and even a microwave) in my room but no tea/coffee or milk. Before arrival you receive an e-mail with a code that you need to key in to open the door. So for those who want privacy and/or sleep all day, it is ideal. The landlady is available by phone though, and very helpful in case of queries.

Great value, convenient location, really comfortable bed, immaculately clean. Easy parking on street outside (£2 per day for parking permit 16:30-18:00pm). Keyless entry.

I like that the staff is very responsive and accommodating even if it's a self check-in place. I super like that there is a microwave, iron, and hair dryer and whole body mirror inside the room and a common fridge that you can use for your food. Wifi is also good as the router is just outside our room. It's also accessible to public transport and food shops and even tesco and sainsbury's are walking distance.. and you can walk towards the south parade pier, too.

The space inside the room is quite limited but totally fine.. There's no sign outside saying the name of the place so we got confused when we first came but it can be easily googled and the staff named belle is very responsive to queries.

Rooms were spotless. Location was handy for restaurants (2 min walk), walkable to seafront. Belle was super-efficient in arranging repairs. Information provided on local facilities was really helpful. The Turkish restaurant on the next street was beautiful and really friendly!

Unfortunately the extractor fan in the bathroom was broken and continuously ran, which disturbed my sleep. As I'd arrived late the first night, I was unable to report u til the second day which didn't leave enough time to arrange a repair. However, Belle was very apologetic about this and as I checked out on Thursday the maintenance man was there, new fan in hand to carry out the repair. The mattress was uncomfortable, and again fed back. Maintenance confirmed new mattress ordered. All reports were dealt with in an exceptionally efficient manner (a shame nobody reported before) and as such wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Was disappointed no coffee supplied tho

Nearby lots of eateries bur wanted a good pub with English food - not burgers etc.which we couldn't find in walking distance
