Rooms were pleasant & spa was enjoyable. Reception staff very pleasant.

We had to request room move due to wedding party noise. Food not great, in particular would not choose to eat in the restaurant grill again.

The hotel is amazing! Beautiful reception area, lovely gardens. Plenty of space to sit and relax.

We loved the superior room. The evening meal in the Calvery restaurant was lovely. We loved sitting outside on the sunny day, looking over the golf course. Breakfast was lovely too and foods filled up quickly at the buffet

It would have been great to have had cheeses and hams on the cold section of the buffet. The lighting in the superior room could have been a bit brighter - fantastic mirrors, but difficult to see well (for putting make up on for example). It would have been good to have lighting over the mirrors.

The service was atrocious! This is my 2nd stay. The 1st time the service wasn't that great. The 2nd time around the service was even worse! I went to check in and the receptionist was on her phone texting and didn't acknowledge me for at least 20 seconds! Poor service! The service in the bar was also terrible, there were only 2 people serving and it was super slow, I had to send a cocktail back when it did eventually arrive as it tasted nothing like what we asked for. On my first visit the service in the bar was super slow, you need more people serving. It took me about half an hour to get through to room service on the evening and even then I had to call reception only to be told the number had changed but I was only calling the number on the phone in the room. Breakfast service was also slow, only 1 person In the breakfast room seeing to people and he was also super slow and didn't seem to get what we where asking for even though it was a simple request. Awful service from start to finish of our stay. It has put us off wanting to return for another stay.

Very friendly staff, lovely hotel and facilities. Good variety at breakfast and nice golf course. The beds were comfy and rooms spacious.
