The guesthouse is ideally located in Banjul if you need to get a couple of things done. Kairaba Avenue is quite busy. The staff is very helpful, accommodating, and friendly.

There was an issue with the internet connection. I guess it was independent of the guesthouse.

They picked me up from the bus station late at night. They offered a nice breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They organised all transport for me. Very nice people!

The breakfast was very nice, good bread (toasted) with omelette, coffee and interesting jams. The staff were very helpful in dealing with our requests even late at night. The room was large and clean. We were immediately given the wifi password. Partly by our own fault, we ended up with a mosquito net that was very slightly too small for the bed, but the establishment provided anti-mosquito candles and we had no problem with mosquitos in the end.

Only one plug socket in the room itself.

Excellent breakfast but I like eat fruits on the morning.

Although it is a "distance" to the beach and the core center (Senegambia), a shared taxi ride is cheap. No problemos.

The place was close to GTSC bus station. There was a garden. the main plus was a puppy and a kitten and a girl having fun with them in the garden.

We got much worse room than we had booked. The guesthouse is not one but two buildings. The main one may be better but we got the room in the other one. It was ugly and had a big stain of mould on the wall. The bathroom wasn’t functional, the door didn’t close and there was no place to hang a towel or anything. When we told that was not the room that we’d booked we were told that was one of their best rooms and that they were fully booked. WE DEFFINATELY DON’T RECOMMEND THAT PLACE!!!

I like the location which is not far from the main road (Traffic Light) reference point to go anywhere. Staff was very helpful and gave information when asked. Affordable price considering location and facility. I also liked the fact that the place is clean.

The fact that the room does not have TV makes it difficult and boring! I am used to sleep after watching a movie or watching the news. In addition, I struggled to open the main gate after 2am as the key does not work and most of the time the security guard has to come and open the gate (it felt like I was still living at my parents). Please sort out the lock for the main entrance and ask the security to not lock it from the inside. Oh sorry I nearly forgot, Be aware of the dog at the compound, can scare you at night time.

the shower was working perfectly well the room was cleaned every day [but left a bad smell....could not work out what it was]. power sockets were adequate toilet paper was provided but no soap i had to extend my stay by another night, not by choice, but due to mismanagement of the woman in charge.

unfortunately this was a bad hotel experience for me; the internet in this hotel did not work; i had to rely on outside internet throughout my 3 day stay. my breakfast was included in my daily room rate but i chose not have them in all 3 mornings; [i visited the kitchen in the first morning and was shocked by its unclean state]. my room had no soap supplied on arrival; i got my own later. there is no bedside light; the staff were generally unreliable and did not have any visible presence in the hotel; i had to communicate or call for them through the security guard outside.....not easy and had to wait around, one day for 2 hours!! on final checkout, the hotel wanted full cash payment which i gave ; but they denied me any receipt;

I asked for a taxi meeting us at the airport, but never got an answer to this question, and no taxi was there to meet us.

The owner was charming and available. She found yogurt for my breakfast after I asked, and would not accept payment. She gave me her WhatsApp, which helped a lot to smooth over the challenges of language with staff. It is a good location, beautiful courtyard, nice murals on the walls.

Staff was a challenge. Regular cook was away and the replacement spoke no English or French. Difficult to communicate. My room overlooked a patio area at ground level. A very bright light shone in my window all night. People talking and walking outside my window late night/early morning. I had to keep curtains drawn for privacy, which meant the fan didn't draw cooler air at night. Room was very hot!!

Quiet place in the center of Serrekunda. Friendly staff with friendly children. Nice breakfast included. Mosquito net. I would definitely come back.

Quite far away from the beach like 25 minutes.

The hotel was fine the room was clean. I could only stay one night due to changes in my travel plans. The room had two fans and was intended for a family. Bathroom was a little worn but clean and had a bath. Reception was fine and very quick Daniella was very helpful. Plenty of restaurants and mini markets within 5 minutes walk as we're three banks with ATMs.

Virtually impossible to find. The address is unknown to all except those who live in the same street. The owner would not talk to the taxi driver to give him directions. I should have expected that there would be no lights in the street, there were not, about 300 meters to the main road on sand roads in the pitch dark. Bring a torch. The electricity failed three times during the early evening, the WiFi was on and off mainly off. The water is from a pump so when you get up to use the toilet during the night there is no water. I wanted to catch the bus at 7am so planned a shower at 6.00. no water. When I left at 6.15 the hotel was in darkness, the front door and gate to the street were not locked. It's a pity with a couple of sign boards one on the main road by the pipeline mosque and one on the first road it would be easy to find. Keep the water pump running at night and it would be so much better The electricity and internet issue I think were down to overloading of the system because Daniella could turn them back on. I had low expectations for Banjul it was not my first time there.

The staff woman working there was not friendly at all, even rude at some point, she didn't greet us when we arrived, feel like we were disturbing her asking questions. If you work in a place like that you have to be empathic, welcoming and attentive to the client and able to give some tourist information, how to get around. We never got to meet the owner who supposedly lives next door. It was very hot in the room despite the 2 fans. The fridge in the room was not clean when we arrived, it smelled bad and there was à rotten egg inside. The room key was also supposed to open the gate but it didn't, so one night coming back at midnight we got stucked outside the gate and had to knock the door until 3am when somebody finally came to let us in. Despite the good comments of the place, we were very much disappointed.

Location was good.Loved the dog.
