You will enjoy the stay when you don’t need to see Elle. By the way the town is not very interesting. The location offers spectaculous views. You will rest in the villa perfectly. The staff is amazing. Special thanks and words of respekt to Damith for the incredible quality of the food. Thank you!

The villa needs renovation and the change of furniture in the rooms. We sometimes didn’t feel well seeing the shabby walls or mould… I didn’t like the plastic shelters from the rain. But it is highly possible that I will stay there again.

This place is great for couples. It's very isolated and quiet, which we really appreciated after a long busy day in the busy and loud city center. The staff were amazing and very polite and helpful. They tried their best to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The view is just spectacular, day or night! You can see Ravana Falls, little Adam's peak and Ella rock from there, which was just so amazing for us. At night, the stars were just OMG!! I have never imagined that I could witness such a sky there ♡ My husband and I stayed up at night for over an hour just looking at the stars, which was so romantic and left me really happy. The only issue was the road leading to the hote, as it is still under maintenance, but the hotel arranged a ride for us from the main road to the hotel for free, so no need to worry about that. And it can also be a nice hike for those who like hiking. The hotel manager also arranged a reliable tuktuk driver for us to be our guide in the city for a very reasonable price, which we truly appreciate. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and hopefully we can be back soon!!

The facility has so much potential, and I feel that with just a little bit more maintenance and care, it can be a very good attraction for honeymooners.

There was a pool with a beautiful view

the hotel way was so bad you have to go there tuk tuk. The rooms were not too clean and breakfast is not free

The view and location were amazing. Nice and quiet away from the town. The road is blocked so it's a bumpy ride by Tuk-Tuk to the location. I really enjoyed the drive.amd in my opinion the best Tuk-Tuk driver in Sri Lanka. Staff made me feel very welcome and the devilled chicken is the best Ive had. Highly recommended

the hotel is in a very remote but beautiful location. we had a private pool which was shared with one other room so perfect for morning swims! the scenery and gardens were stunning. hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

the room wasnt at the quality we would expect to have with a private pool but it was good for a few nights. The biggest downfall to the hotel is the accessibility to ella centre. The hotel states it is 20/3o mins but it is approximately 45 minutes to an hour from ella centre . We had to book another hotel in the centre to be able to climb little Adam's peak for sunrise.

There have been roadworks for about a year they told me (in March 2022) so getting there is a pain and takes a while! The hotel helps with moving around in a tuktuk or a jeep. But it just made this more of adventure, but if you are travelling with kids/elderly peole I wouldn’t recommend it.

view was amazing! a bit far from city center but the road and the view was worth it

the surroundings were stunning! the pool was good and the food on the property was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka!

it is far away from Ella and the roads are extremely bumpy - plan to stay at the place and not leave for Ella - it is about 40 min drive with a tuk tuk

Beautiful and peaceful location with stunning and uninterrupted views, not another house in site. (Something I dont think you would get if you stayed in the city centre, which seemed to be rather overcrowded with hotels). Delicious food - we had the rice and curry and it was the best we have tried yet on our holiday. The rooms are very private, it feels like you have your own apartment more than just a room as they are very separate from each other.

It is a quite a drive from town and requires a tuk tuk each time, which is not included in the price. We would still stay here again however and don't let this put you off...if you are looking for a good value hill country retreat, this is perfect!

The view from Villa was amazing, food and staff was great.

However the room was dirty and didn’t look like in the booking photos.

The place has few houses with rooms with the best view we ever had. Don't worry that you won't get a room with a view- it's not possible, all rooms has similar one! Breakfast was perfect! The chef asked us what we would like to eat and it was definitely also the best breakfast we had on Sri Lanka :)

We traveled just after Sri Lanka opened for tourism after almost 2 year of being closed. All hotels just opened and we totally understand that they might didn't have time or money to make some refurbishments, but the swimming pools wasn't clean and the villa needed renovating in terms of painting the walls or repairing a sofa in common space area... Everything apart from swimming pool was super clean tho and we are pretty sure that the hotel cleaned it already as they were starting doing it when we arrived there. The transport might be also a bit of a hassle- it's quite far from the city center and the road seems quite dangerous, but if you can spend bit more time on the travel I think it's totally worth choosing this hotel- you won't get such a view in the city center and believe me it looks like paradise.

The views are just simply amazing. The pool is so great overlooking the mountains. A delicious breakfast was served in the room. The room had a beautiful balcony with spectacular views. The staff is quite helpful and nice.

The road to the hotel is a tough one, they take you down to the hotel by a special jeep. I was scared as the road is terrible, and it is quite narrow, so I felt like I was in danger! It took 20 minutes to get to the hotel by jeep. The hotel itself is located 30 minutes from the city, so it took almost 50 minutes to get out of there. The room was not properly cleaned before our arrival - there was a lot of hair and dirt on the carpet (the carpet does not fit the room at all, it only makes the room look worse). The room was quite small, not very cozy, the lights did not work! We wanted to open the balcony doors but there was no net, so the insects flew in. There was no information in the room about the Wifi, so we needed to call the staff to ask, some of them did not even know. The was no water one evening at all, so we needed to wait several hours to shower after a long day, which was super unpleasant.. The room is definitely overpriced.

The view over the mountain is spectacular. Probably the main reason to stay here. The food is very delicious. The staff is very helpful and supportive.

There is only water in the room when one calls the reception. Due to the lack of network inside the room, one has to go outside to get network. That's incredibly annoying that there is no regular running water. The place itself is in dire need of some renovation. The carpet in the room is old and dirty. Better wear shoes inside. Due to the rain damage of the road one can only go with an SUV to the place.

The staff is really friendly. The place is clean and cozy. You can have a breathtaking view of Ella rock and Rawana Ella Waterfall while having a leisure time in the swimming pool. With tasty food and excellent room service you spend the best holiday you can ever have....

Only thing that had to improve was the accessible road to the place. The road is in very bad condition. If the road is better, I'm pretty sure this place will definitely be a tourist attraction.

This is one of the top 10 most breathtakingly beautiful destinations in the world… spanning mountains, valleys, waterfalls, sunrises incomparable. Unforgettable vegetation, tropical flowers, wildlife… Private infinity pool, terrace, outdoor kitchen, the most comfortable beds. The staff took attentive care of all of our needs. Note: You should be able to climb stairs and tolerate the off-road transport to the location. Our car was parked safely in their designated area in town and the property manager provided transportation to the villa.

Be prepared to stay at the villa for the duration of your reservation. Staff will provide for all requests, including transport back to town if required.

All these negatives aside, we'd still go there! The customer service from Karuna was amazing trying to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. He cooked delicious meals for us, did the serving and also cleaning up after. Even cleaned the pool before we had a dip. I think it's because they don't have a huge staff to maintain and clean the villa right now due to covid, which is why that side was lacking a little. But overall the villas were so uniquely designed, breath taking views, lovely infinity pool that feels private. Would no doubt re visit!

Even though below negatives exist I'll still go again! The bathroom we felt like it was not cleaned after whoever stayed before us, the bin wasn't emptied, the bathroom mirror was not cleaned. The hotel was beautiful but looked like it was lacking maintenance, the window to the balcony in our room was filled with stains. The locks on the cupboards to store our items were broken - it's outside the room so was a little concerned but nothing got lost.

Limited food choices. The landscape was not satisfactory. Tea/coffee packets were just kept open without proper containers near the pool. no wifi connection. Tv was disconnected.
