En haut de la montagne superbe vue à couper le souffle on se sent vraiment au bout du monde , très beau coucher de soleil Très bonne cuisine végétarienne le soir (un plat + un dessert) Superbe piscine

C'est difficilement accessible évidemment - possible de descendre a pied au village (sans bagage) mais monter trop compliqué c'est en super montée sur 1h n'essayez même pas ( il faut ajouter la chaleur, l'humidité etc) On a vu des gens su bord du malaise mais tout est prévu en haut pour ne pas descendre ( bières, cocktail, jus, choses à grignoter)

Sehr schöne Lage, wenn auch abgeschieden vom „Dorf“. Und ein Sonnenuntergang, auch direkt aus pool, der sich mehr als sehen lässt. Sensationelles Essen.

Das Zimmer war ein wenig dunkel & es hatte nicht wirklich warmes Wasser. Bei der Location & Art aber auch verständlich.

Cet endroit est incroyable, un petit paradis perdu au bout du monde. La vue de la piscine est a coupé le souffle. Le dortoir est un peu petit mais on y est très bien. Je souhaite à tout le monde d’aller y passer une nuit. Le personnel est super on y mange très bien. De bonnes énergies se dégagent de cet endroit

Vegetarian food only

Well worth the trip up the mountain from Minca. Plenty to do within walking distance, so not much need to head back down unless you want to. Breakfast was perfect. Dinner set up won't work for everyone, but the food was delicious. Pool and sunsets = incredible.

You're literally in the middle of nature, with an amazing view, friendly staff, really nice pool. Was a nice experience overall. PS: The road to get there it pretty hard. An all wheel drive that isn't tall, let's say, a Subaru, wouldn't make the trip. Either you have a truck or take the taxi from Minca.

As the room has no air-conditioner, the room would get hot during the day and, keeping the door open at night to refresh it was not an option because of the bugs. Therefore, sleeping wasn't a pleasant part of our stay. All the rest was wonderfull!

Mundo Nuevo is the perfect base to explore the beautiful surroundings. The food was delicious and varied (all vegetarian). We had massages and did the bird watching tour during our stay and would recommend both.

Our room was a little underwhelming and didn’t have much of a view. It was however clean and comfortable and we liked the vase of flowers that had been put in there!

We liked the lush vegetation. We love the pool area. We loved, loved the views from the swimming pool area on the terrace cheers. The staff was exceptional to friendliness and accommodating our needs. They did a fantastic job and were always available to help. 

The only thing we had a problem with was the lack of-chairs in the terrace areas. We felt there should be more recliners available when you have a large number of people at the facility hard to fight with the other clients for the chairs.

Beautiful views and location. Bathoom lovely and strong warm shower. Would highly recommend the stay for the amazing location and communal areas.

Not good value for money. Small room considering price and would expect breakfast to be included for this price. Dorms weren't available on booking.com but others did tell us their dorms had plenty of space.

Location, views and sunsets 10/10. Breakfast very good.

The staff were unhelpful and rude (we felt that they literally could not care less about guests). They all sat behind the counter gossiping, platting each other’s hair and ignored guests. The swimming pool was out of action on both of our days and there was no explanation or apology to the guests. The water quality in the rooms was often murky and felt unclean. The toilet bins weren’t cleaned unless you asked (toilet paper can’t be flushed). The rooms were noisy as there were mesh panels for windows which meant that every time someone opened or closed a door you would wake up. Don’t expect any privacy or sleep quality here. Generally this was a very disappointing stay but had the potential to be amazing if all of the above were corrected (note for management).

This place is a little slice of heaven! The staff is so friendly and kind -- them and the hostel dogs were my favorite part! The food was incredible (all vegetarian) and since it's served at set times each day, it fosters a sense of community amongst the guests. Would definitely recommend taking a 4x4 or motorbike up.

This wasn't an issue for me, but the WiFi was pretty spotty. If you are on a set schedule with meetings and plan to be working, this isn't the place for you.

The nature and the dinner.

The staff, one of the womens was very rude and had a bad attitude. They did not tell me the breakfast was not included when I checked in which I tought it was for that price. The bed was not comfortable, as soon as someone was moving the both bed was "shaking". No one showed me around when I arrived. I had to walk around and find the toilet, shower etc by myself.

Wow. This was an absolutely magical place! I stayed in a 4-bed dorm which I recommend because the bathroom will be in your room. The larger dorms had bathrooms a walk away. The facilities across the entire property were always kept very clean. Even the bunk beds felt like it was staying at a hotel. Great bedding and set up with the bug nets. The property itself is so beautiful and it is the best place to watch the sunset from. The infinity pool is stunning. The dogs are lovely. The food can be random at times but always delicious. I recommend having dinner on the property so you can watch the sunset. You don't want to be heading up the hill in the dark anyways. I did do the hike up to the property with my backpack. It's quite the workout but do-able. The road is quite bumpy so if you have lots of luggage I would recommend getting a 4x4 instead of a moto-taxi.

This has nothing to do with the property but it is Minca so to other travelers, make sure you bring lots of bug spray. There are also giant beetles that frequent the property.

An hidden gem in the most wonderful place surrounded by nature and lovely people! a must when visiting Minca. The sunset there will leave you speechless and grateful for life!

Stunning location lost in the middle of the tropical forest. Fantastic views on the sunset. Amazing setting, hotel, pool, garden. The staff are super friendly, attentive and helpful and call everyone by their name. Great eco ethic, with shared vegetarian meals and refillable water. Super quiet and calm. Great selection of activities

It was all amazing! Just be prepared for a very bumpy and steep moto ride up to the hotel if you’re not taking the 4x4 option

A fabulous stay up in the hills way up above Minca. Stunning views, great food and Humming birds flitting about as you have breakfast! it’s a 4x4 trip up the hill or- because they were mending the “road” we took 3 motorcycle taxis up- one each plus one for the back packs - great fun!
