Came up to Island Park with friends so we could go to Yellowstone and experience Island park hiking and the snake river. This house was fabulous for 2 families with 5 kids 8 and under. The open floor plan with additional space upstairs was perfect for our group and ping pong and cornhole helped to entertain the kids after long days in the park. The only drawback is there are no window coverings which meant kids rising very early in the morning and it was hard to have a toddler nap during the day. However, everything’s else was amazing and we would definitely recommend staying here! We will be back!

This is a fun place to stay with friends and it is conveniently located near Yellowstone and several other lakes and trails.

Yellowstone NP closed due to flooding during our visit - June 2022. This helped prove the value of the property location in SE Idaho as we shifted to state parks, rafting, and other activities. The house is all unique and fun.

My family loved the split level with the games on the lower floor and all the sleeping on the second floor. We loved the location for our trips into Yellowstone. only 2 issues I had with the property. The road leading up to the cabin is not maintained and there were serious potholes which made it difficult with a small car. Also none of the windows had blinds on them which made it difficult to sleep in during the summer months.

We had a large group traveling to the Yellowstone area and we rented this property in addition to a larger property down the road to house a total of 19 people. My daughter and her family enjoyed staying in the Bootjack Bungalow which is a great accommodation for families! Our group was able to enjoy dinner all together in the lower level on a cool rainy night. The kids loved the ping pong and bags! Lower level kitchen had everything we needed! Five stars!!!

Great time, family friendly, did not realize the amount of stairs so was relieved my mother in law was unable to join us. Great time and great communication.

My husband and I stayed here with a friend from Montana State and another who drove in from Oregon to fish. The boys got up and fished every day and I (the photographer) drove into Yellowstone to enjoy the sites and take photos. There was lots of room inside and out. We had 3 large cars and a drift boat in the driveway with room to spare. The upstairs was was beautiful complete with a fireplace...which I used the last day when the weather went from sunny and 75 to snow. We saw a bull moose in the neighbor's yard and red fox being chased by 2 deer. Tyler, the manager was extremely attentive. We had problems with the GPS (make sure you use google to guide you, not Apple Maps) and he led us right in. There was a problem with the grill and he was there within 2 hrs and it was ready for our next dinner. It is a bit of an odd layout with the 4 beds in one of the bedrooms and the main kitchen in the downstairs, but it is exactly as the pictures show it. I only wish the downstairs had more and bigger windows so we could view nature as we ate our meals. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Really liked the rental house. Was clean and setup nicely. Really liked the garage area for all our riding clothes and heated floor dries everything off nicely for the next day.kids played beanbags and had fun trying to play ping pong. Property was a little tight to get our large trailer in but owner had the driveway widened out for us after we asked. Ty was Really easy to work with and would stay again.

Great location and lots of fun. The cabin was beautiful and had lots of entertainment on site with the ping pong table and cornhole game. It was spacious and enjoyable.

Such a great property. Secluded in the woods but so easily accesible. The cabin is beautiful, clean and a good but unique layout. We liked the games (ping pong, cornhole, etc.). Loved the mom and baby moose that were around the cabin most days. Kids loved the loft. Easy checkin and checkout. Kitchen was well stocked. Overall great stay!

We were in AWE as soon as we pulled into the driveway. We all recognized it from the pictures. We opened the garage doors and immediately were shocked at how awesome this house is. We all had so much fun. The place smelled fresh and clean (not stuffy and like the inside of a vacuum). We even took a short hike into the "backyard" and saw a moose!! If you want to get away from city life for a little bit, this is the place. There are small stores nearby for anything you need. OH and the house was packed with supplies so we didn't need to buy much. Overall, we loved this house.

So much space! Our family stayed here for our vacation at Yellowstone, 20 mins to the west entrance. Great home to come back to at the end of a long day hiking and exploring. We would recommend this to anyone looking for lots of space, close to Yellowstone, and new/clean rental. Our two boys could not get enough ping pong and cornhole while we there. Hope to visit again. It was such a beautiful place and we made some amazing memories. Yellowstone was perfect as usual. We go almost 2 times a year and will be going back next year!!

This cabin was perfect! It's beautiful, clean and spacious. The whole family enjoyed our stay. The games are a perfect touch! We had the best vacation. It was relaxing instead of work. I don't feel like I need a vacation after the vacation. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area. This is our favorite place that we've stayed. Great for families. Close to Yellowstone. BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you so much!

The property was updated and very nice. Access to the outlet portion of the river is not as easy, but there is a residence boat dock that we were able to access across the street and fish the lake. +

Loved this place. Th was the was even some cattle that visited us during our stay and we loved seeing all the wild foxes

I hesitated to write a review, because I didn't want the cabin to loose the chance to book this place again! But, that felt a little selfish. It is going to fill up fast. We let our kids browse VRBO to find our lodging. They picked this location. We had the best time. The loft was fun for sleepovers. The basement was a great hang out zone. There were plenty of spots to sit comfortably for movies in the evenings. We had a family of foxes living in the field next door that we could watch from the windows! Everything was clean and new. You will love it! My mother-in-law had to plan her trips up and down the stairs carefully, because it is a climb. Enjoy!

This was an amazing property and we had such a great time. The two levels allowed for a place for loud play and hanging out and a quiet area for those that wanted to relax or just talk. Such a great location and the cabin is beautiful! Thank you for sharing it with us. We would highly recommend this home.

We had a really fun time in this cabin near Yellowstone. It was a great launching point for our adventures - close to West Yellowstone to be convenient, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful! Tyler was easy to work with and very responsive to emails and questions. We thought at first it was strange to have the full kitchen down in the garage, but it turned out to be the perfect spot for it. We played a lot of cornhole and ping pong and hung out down there with the cool breezes. We watched movies upstairs only because there was more room for 5 of us to spread out up there. My kids were happy that they all could have their own beds, even if they had to share a room. Having the windows open was lovely at night, as we are from Texas and never have the chance for fresh, cool air at night. We really enjoyed this cabin and would definitely recommend it to anyone. My only suggestion would be to have some lawn chairs outside to sit in, and to maybe have a fire pit (if allowed).

The owners were very empathetic about the unique Covid19 situation and were in touch with us the weeks leading up to our stay. The cabin was eloquently decorated and the kids loved the downstairs garage space. Perfectly located near the west entrance to Yellowstone, while still having an “in the woods” feel away from the tourism of the city of West Yellowstone. Highly recommended!

The host was easy to contact and check/in-out was a simple process. The house was amazing, the first floor provided with loads of fun and activities. The kitchen was easy to use with your typical essentials needed, although I forgot to ask about sandwich bags, plastic wraps, and a few other items. There were enough beds for each guest, the place is spacious and secluded, I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again.

We loved the location - no traffic, so quiet, tucked away in the trees, and so close to Yellowstone. We had two visitors - a deer and a fox. Our 9 year old grandson loved the tennis table, corn hole game and especially the loft! Well appointed and tastefully decorated - we had a enjoyable and relaxing stay.
