We rented this house as the base camp for my sisters out of town wedding! It had plenty of space and beds to house all of us. The property was clean and supplied with plenty of activities laid out! Like a s’more bar! We took some wedding photos here and the backdrop was unreal! Only wish we had more time to enjoy the private beach and hot tub! Highly recommend this rental!

My family stayed at this lovely home for my daughter’s wedding, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Two bedrooms and a bath on the ground floor made it easy for my son, his wife and children to have their own space. The main floor with three bedrooms and bath is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has fabulous views of Lake Michigan. The house is directly on the lake, with access via stairs so you can put your toes in the water while enjoying the beauty! Roland is a wonderful host who went over and above the call of duty to make calls for us checking availability of The NY Times for my husband, as well as mailing us a package that arrived after we left. Great experience, stay here!

Lovely home and the owners have put much thoughtfulness in providing for the needs of visitors. Everyone in our group commented on the cleanliness of the house and how well stocked it was. Cookware was nice quality which doesn’t typically happen in our experiences.

A beautiful gem in Benton Harbor. Clean, great beach front location and very well appointed with high end finishes - I.e. kitchen, linens etc. we had one issue with the outdoor hot tub and Roland was on it. He sent the pool guy over and then came over himself to drain and refill it to get it back to sparkling! And while he was there he played volleyball and badminton with the kiddos. And he even have us a giftcard to a local restaurant for our troubles. He is a class act. And the property was perfect for us.

The beach was great, clean, and made for nice walks in the morning. There about 100 steep stairs down from the lawn to the beach, so that made for quite a workout. The paddleboard was store part way up the stairs, which was a little challenging to bring down. Roland communicated frequently via text and provided an easy check in. The owners did require both the purchase of $80 property damage protection AND a $1,000 security deposit, neither of which I've had to do before. We did receive the $1,000 deposit back. We had a fabulous visit to this property. It was immaculately clean and the communication with the owners was perfect. The house is well decorated and there were many extras that made you feel right at home (including supplies for s'mores!). The kitchen had everything you need and there are two fridges for food and drinks. We made use of the hot tub, fire pit, and badminton almost daily. The views and sunsets are STUNNING!! It is quite a walk down the stairs to the beach - but the nearby park down the hill provides easy access. Some of our group drove down daily to walk from the lot and it was super convenient. We hope to come back next summer!

Everything is as advertised. Beautiful, quiet location. Thoughtfully decorated. Large back yard w/ steps down to beach. You can watch the sun set over the lake from the living room or upper deck. Our whole family loved it, and the kiddos are already asking when we can go back again.

This is a wonderful place to stay at. Advance communications were so easy with the owner. No surprises whatsoever. When we arrived, the house presented like a realtor had staged it, quite a nice greeting! We were very pleased with the amenities at the house. There were 8 in our party along with a 9 mo. old and we had plenty of space during our week. I found the owner incredibly responsive and assisted with each question we had. He couldn't have done better. The Kitchen is very well appointed and both my wife and daughters commented that they had never been in a VRBO with this scale of equipment. It made it a great place to cook. Sunsets were spectacular and the firepit was a perfect way to relax after a day of relaxing. Our only concerns were some slow running drains which the owner is already addressing and some of us like a firmer bed but then we shouldn't stay at a VRBO and get a hotel instead!!! Great place, we're ready to come back next year.

This is the best rental house I have stayed in. The pictures don't do it justice, this house and beautiful and SO CLEAN. The kitchen here is better equipped than my kitchen, the views are breath taking and the owners are super responsive. Roland followed up with me at every stage and gave great recommendations on restaurants and things to do in the area. The master bedroom bed is INSANELY comfortable. I just can't say enough good things about this house, but don't take my word for it just rent it yourself!

This house is a great place to spend time with friends and family. It has the best stocked kitchen that I have ever seen in a rental property. The house is immaculate and well maintained. It certainly lives up to the description in the listing. The owners are very attentive hosts. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax on Lake Michigan.

Exceptionally clean and well appointed. The owner did an amazing job with the remodel of this home. The kitchen was fantastic, the bedrooms/bedding all exceptional. We didn't leave the house during our stay. We have stayed in many many rentals over the years, and I will say this this was the most well maintained by far. Even the garbage cans were spotless! I would absolutely stay again.

Our family had a wonderful visit at Roland and Cindy’s property. This was our second consecutive year at their home. Once again, our week was amazing. The home is clean, the view is spectacular and Roland and Cindy have thought of everything! This house has everything you would need and the communication with Roland before our stay and during our stay was prompt and efficient. They are very accessible and great to work with.
