Great staff, clean & comfortable room

Staff super helpful. Great location

The fridge was cold. It had foxtel.

The walls were so thin, and the person coughed all night next door. Smoke alarm in room not working it was hanging open. Aircon didn't work properly.

Fit for purpose. Competitive price for clean comfortable but aging facilities.

Both host and client were let down by booking dot com. We had been here before several times and booked what we thought was a similar room as before which had a bathroom. Once the transaction was complete the booking app immediately came up with “Upgrade to a room with a bathroom for only $12”. Being old we need a bathroom so I panicked and paid the extra and was charged the premium. I queried the issue by inquiry mail to booking dot com but months later I have not had a reply. When we arrived at the motel recently I told the manager that the distinction needed to be clarified and he said. “all our rooms have bathrooms - it’s just what booking dot com does”. I said it was a scam and I had paid $12 too much. He did not offer any refund but said “you upgraded to a bigger room”. He added that he would report my complaint to the booking company again but he did not expect a response. Not good. Be warned - every room has a bathroom - don’t be scammed by a computer glitch that should be fixed with customers compensated. Sorry diss a perfectly nice middle level motel. This is a warning not a bad review!

it was a convenient stop for our visit to Kingscliff

the bed was very hard and my back suffered as a result. It could do with more blankets as it was cold and the aircon unit too noisy to use for long.

Owners were friendly and obliging

Everything was good

Room and bathroom were very spacious and clean, plenty of parking, amenities in the room were great, staff were very friendly, A/C unit keeps good temp. Quite central in the area.

Bed was very firm, made my back hurt. A/C unit was also quite loud.

it was clean and welcoming. an older Motel but the owners had really made an effort so it wasn’t tired & worn out but comfortable and clean.

Great value for money. Near Tweed mall. Airport and Coolangatta.
