Safety and comfort are the most obvious factors. Guaranteed improvement in fitness through constant climbing of the stairs. Beautiful pools , especially the pavilion pools.

Very uncomfortable bed.. perhaps suitable for Asian market but felt like sleeping on the hard board. Apparently it is healthy though not my personal preference.

I would like to highly recommend the renaissance hotel and concierge service by the JENNIE PROM. She makes our vacatione better than we expected. She recommend the elephant entertaitment and she booked for us the hotel taxi for all day with scasual of the seeseeing everything worth to see and do in Koh Samui. Even that she booked for us the table in the most crould skybar in the Bangkok. The hotel is a perfect place for the relax, food are deliciois and the staff are very helpful.

We loved the location and the hotel facilities. Most of the stuff were amazing.

Once we wanted to go for a national park trip one person from the front desk made us to change our tour to an expensive one (where he claims hotel works with them) by telling that the other tours are bad, no guarantee kind of cliches. He made us to pay more than 1500 bahts difference to his recommended tour operator. After attending it we learned that all the tours are same in services. Once you visit such a country in such an established hotel chain, you expect your hotel, and its personel to always help and find you the best alternatives and deals for you. Its not good even think that you have paid more for somebody to get some percentage. I have same feeling with car rental, since i didnt double check the prices around i can not say that he made us to pay more, but unfortunately i have the same feeling and i cant do any thing about it.

la villa que nous avons réservé était au calme et proche de l'accueil et du restaurant. Nous n'avons pas profité de la piscine de l'établissement car nous avions une piscine privée avec notre hébergement. La literie était un peu dure à notre gout mais c'est normal car en Thailande ils n'ont pas de sommier c'est tout en bois un peu comme si vous posiez votre matelas au sol. Nous avons passé un bon séjour et tout le personnel a été très gentil. Le restaurant propose un large choix et ouvre à 6h30 pour le petit déjeuner ce qui est un plus quand vous avez une excursion de prévue.

Il existe une navette gratuite qui vous transporte sur central samui à chaweng (de 13H a 15H) trop court si vous souhaitez faire les boutiques sans vous presser ou lamai beach (de 14H a 17H) trop long a moins que vous souhaitiez passez du temps à la plage. L'hotel est entouré de verdure mais très isolé si vous n'avez pas de moyen de locomotion.

La pulizia, il cibo ottimo, la struttura curata.

A primo impatto non mi è piaciuta la stanza, io avevo preso una villa nel giardino con piscina privata, e diciamo che non è arredata come si deve , la camera è enorme però ha un armadio piccolo e un tavolo con un unica sedia. La piscina risulta quasi una grande vasca idromassaggio, è troppo piccola per nuotare.

Friendly staff at breakfast and the pool bar. Service was very efficient. Hotel was not so busy so it was easy to relax.

I booked the beach front villa for our honeymoon. On arrival it became clear we had been placed in a villa overlooking the pool rather than on the beach. When I reserved the room on booking.com, there were very specific photos of the beach front villas which did not match up with what we got. The hotel manager conceded it was misleading but there a 6 villas they class as ‘beach front’, two of which overlook the pool and do not offer the privacy or quiet suggested in the photos. We were offered an actual beachfront location available 2days later, but this was only after we made a bit of a fuss on check in. Although the second villa was lovely and as described, the start spoilt our honeymoon a bit. Beware of this if you are booking similar.

Lovely hotel on a private beach and nice big pool. Excellent facilities - room very clean and had views over the long pool. Good gym facilities. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with lots of options. Location is good and walking distance to nice restaurants on the main road. Spa treatment was also very nice - I had a deep tissue massge for 90 minutes which was also on promotion. All in all, a lovely hotel and would stay there again.

Very quiet and serene place. Super friendly staff. Great buffet for breakfast. Clean beach with kayaks. Nice ambiance.

Internet was quite bad, especially the Guest in-room one, could barely catch it and not every time. Could only connect properly to the Public network near the reception area. Also to warn that the stairs in the beach infinity pool were not safe. Our son cut his foot quite seriously on the stairs and our daughter tripped on them too. The hotel staff was very helpful though, they bandaged our son’s foot and changed the bandage the next day too.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing! Provided free shuttle a few times a day. Facilities were very nice and clean.

Dinner food was a little bit overpriced. A little removed from the main area but we enjoyed being secluded.

The room was stunning, large, elegant and comfortable. The courtyard and pool was exceptional and made it hard to leave. The pool area and beach is stunning, and one of the better spots on the island for that time of year, as the ocean was protected so could enjoy swimming. The breakfasts were divine, the view divine, the staff attentive.

We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening - it was extremely over-priced, and the food was not great (it did have a beautiful view from the terrace).

Beautiful stay at Renaissance for a week. Stunning grounds, beautiful room, access to own beach. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Excellent friendly staff who noticed your preferences at breakfast and around the resort grounds. Very good choice of food at breakfast. Daily specials. Excellent choice of freshly cooked egg dishes. Excellent pool with good service at poolside bar. Beach is small but attractive and kept very clean. Special services associated with wedding event were highly tailored and well presented.

Provide a slightly wider selection of drinks at poolside bar. Speed of service at main restaurant needs to be quicker. Over an hour from ordering to delivery of main course on three occasions. Appeared to be insufficient cooking staff at most popular times.

All the staff were exceptionally helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable as was the bed. The breakfast was great and varied. The small beach was cleaned on a regular basis.

Only negative was that the toilet roll and shower jel was not replenished.

I like the service, spa, and location.
