A nice hotel with helpful friendly staff and comfortable room and bed.

Good parking both indoor and underground. Lovely lounge with glass ceiling atrium and surrounding gardens. Beds were comfortable.

The room was very dated and in bad need of a refurbishment.. tv channels were very limited, bathroom ensuite shower is inside the bath. Toilet would not flush properly only after adjusting the flush mechanism!. Wallpaper was coming apart at the seams and skirting and wood around the room was badly scraped. No sound insulation from next door. Doors continually slam shut in both bedrooms and also surrounding the atrium lounge, annoying when enjoying a peaceful drink in the lounge The bar menu is limited but being a 5 star hotel I expected a certain level which I would also expect from their restaurant , the carbonara lacked any flavour at all.., very little sauce and I had to ask for pepper and parmesan...neither enhanced the meal. My husband had the potato omelette again it was very basic. We were glad we did not eat at the restaurant. Having stayed at 5 star hotels I did expect a similar standard and was disappointed as the building looks so nice upon entering.

an old converted monastery, fascinating and beautiful

no air conditioning, was told it is switched off in winter yet this was the end of March and the room was very warm, had to sleep with the windows open.

Supposed to be 5 star room was dark and old no life in the building - nobody in the restaurant in the evening Room service was ok but nothing exciting The room service tray was still on the floor outside our door when we checked out after we put it there the previous evening Something seriously lacking in this hotel Plus it was the most expensive one that we chose - 150 euro

Our third stay in the hotel. Location is very good, nice view over the river. We especially liked the possibility to park underground for free because it was pretty cold when we arrived. Service and staff always very nice and professional. Lovely dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. A small shopping centre nearby (walking distance) was an added bonus for us.

Entire ambiance of the hotel was lovely. Restaurant excellent and lovely staff. Swimming pool available. Car parking brilliant with choice of underground parking at no extra cost. Quiet and comfortable room.

as a non meat eater the menu was restricted…
