One of our best vacations ever!!!

The location of the property and the house itself were beautiful. The only issues we ran into is having to buy more cup towels (property only provides 2 and house sleeps 28) and that the oven does not work properly. The oven was a big issue as we made meal plans weeks before coming and half of our meals were ruined because we needed the oven. We will return and hope the issue is fixed before then. Overall would recommend and stay again.

Home was even better than expected! The elevator was a nice unexpected surprise as well.

We enjoyed our time at this Jewell. Our large group slept comfortably with room to spare. Loved the quiet beach, soft sand, and having one of the only houses in the area with a pool. Great stay!

This was our second time to stay at Jewell of the Gulf so it felt like home to us.. It’s a beautiful house and was perfect for our group of 16. We enjoyed the heated pool after a day on the beach. The kitchen was large enough for several of us to be in and cook meals. Thanks for renting your amazing home!

Overall, this house was perfect for our group of 24 people.

We had an entire family ranging in age from 18 months to grandparents. Everything was perfect. The layout could not have been bettter. Individual privacy when we wanted it and the most wonderful floor plan for gathering. The pool was situated right outside the sliding glass doors just a few steps from the kitchen so kids came and went all day with no problems. The beach was gorgeous with a surprise shipwreck buried right next door. We had a little hiccup upon arrival which the management company addressed and repaired immediately. We had a fantastic vacation. We will definitely book this perfect vacation spot again.

great-- only two complaints--outdoor grill was rusted--the downstairs bedroom was very difficult to get into because of the sideboards for seniors-- we would book again if the bed was changed

My husband and I treat our kids and grandkids to an annual end of the summer beach vacation. This year my extended family joined us. We recently lost our mother and decided we needed to make more of an effort to spend quality time together. There were 12 adults and two kids, ranging in age from 1yr to 94yrs. We had a blast! The first two days were a little sketchy as hurricane Ida visited. We had some associated property issues that were to be expected but the management team was on it! They sent people out multiple times to make sure we were safe and comfortable. The Jewel of the Gulf property is fantastic and accomodating for a very large group, even larger than ours. It has everything you need. It is decorated beautifully but best of all you are directly on the beach and you have your own private pool. We hope to make this our annual Family Vacation getaway. We have some siblings that couldn't make it and now we know there's plenty of room for them, there kids and grandkids as well. Just no more hurricaines please! This home is amazing. Our family is very LARGE and it accomodated us all. The pool was a life saver. Double red flag days the pool let the kids still be in the water. The decor is beautiful. Every room is very large and comfortable. Thank you to the home owner and the property managers. They answered all of our questions.

The house was in a great location. Right on the beach with our own wooden boardwalk directly to the beach. That was really great with all the kids and all of our beach chairs and toys. There were 24 of us staying in the house and all had a great week. There were a few wrinkles in our otherwise great week. The wi-fi didn’t work the entire week! The house sleeps 28 people but the living area is comfortable for about 6 or maybe 7 people. Not great. Also the whole back of on side of the sectional was broken! The bedrooms were extra big but no furniture with drawers to put clothes in and only one nightstand per bedroom. The oven smells awful the entire time it is on and we cooked a bunch so real stinky. It was great having a pool but it was filthy. I’m not talking about the amount of sand in the bottom when we got there but the thick scum around the entire waterline of the pool. It was very nice having an elevator! It was very nice having two refrigerators and a large gas stove. Overall we had a great vacation but don’t let the pictures fool you. This house needs some work.

Overall the property is great. Lots of space for our 8 adults and 8 children (ages 1 - 9) family. I cannot imagine if a party of 28 stayed in the house though. There is definitely not enough seating for meals or hanging out in the main living area. The pool was a hit with the kids though. We had few maintenance issues that were taken care of promptly. A/C on second floor wasn't working and was repaired the same day then replaced a couple of days later. We never could get the elevator to work, but didn't use it anyway with all the small children in our group. The kitchen could have been better stocked and the dishwasher needed some maintenance--but these were minor. One thing that could make a huge difference is to add some dressers to the bedrooms. There was nowhere to unpack clothes or set things except on the floor in most of the bedrooms. Bring extra hangers so you can utilize the closet space. The location simply can't be beat. The beach was never crowded and it's just steps away from the back door. We would most likely book the house again simply for the space and the location.

We had a wonderful stay at Jewel of The Gulf! We had 13 family members and there was more than enough room for everyone. The rooms were spacious and and the tub in the master was a dream. The house was very clean and decorated beautifully. We all absolutely loved being able to walk out into the beach and spend our evenings on the balconies listening to the waves. The elevator was a definite plus for unloading and loading. Never knew how much help that was! We will definitely be back.

The house was beautiful and right on the beach! Was perfect with small children. Loved the windows across the main floor so the pool and beach were in perfect view. Only negatives were pool heater did not work and the property advertised a heated pool. And one night it rained and the third floor bunk room and bath leaked badly. Got beds wet and we had to put buckets out to catch the rain. The property management did say they were trying to repair the leak.

Our group of 24 fit comfortably in this beautifully decorated, oceanfront home. The beach was nice and private. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. The elevator was a huge asset in loading in and out. The pool heater was broken, which was disappointing, but the kids still swam. We cooked in the house almost every day. Nice appliances, well appointed with cups, plates, bowls, and such. The Sassy Bass is a great restaurant/bar (and also small general store) just a short walk away. Great stay.

property was in an excellent location, a few improvements needed to make it the BEST. --Internet slow --some parts of the rooms a little outdated -- kitchen utensils a little old. -- no beach towels.

This house was beautiful and offered everything we needed including gorgeous views of the beach and ocean. We highly recommend and would rent again.

This home was beautiful and meet our needs for our large family. We wanted a house with a large great room , kitchen area. This house had that. So many houses I looked at were very narrow across the front. We loved the pool for our little ones and the easy access to the beach. We rented beach chairs and umbrellas. Ike’s beach rentals were also great in taking care of that. Our week was delightful...

Home was very clean, 50 yards to water from end of landing. Having pool was a great change of pace.

Great space but we did experience roaches...we reported the problem and maintenance came right away but still continued to see them...I let management know when we left...I never received follow up call...

The Jewell of the Gulf was a great house for our vacation. There were several small cosmetic issues that we noticed but all in all the house was awesome. The house provided a great layout that allowed for large groups to gather while having their privacy as well. The location was a bit secluded but away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown Gulf Shores. Had an awesome week at the beach.

We had 22 people on vacation and the house had MORE than enough room! We enjoyed the privacy of the location and the beach. Loved our early morning sunrises sitting out on the balconies drinking our coffee. Pool was a nice size. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items. Loved having 3 fridges (2 in the kitchen and one in the rec room). The ONLY thing that I would suggest is to have another trash can in the kitchen and one on the deck. The whole trip was amazing!!!

We had a fantastic stay. There were 6 adults and 3 children, more than enough room. We took our shoes off upon arrival and didn’t put them back on until it was time to leave. We are now beach people and will return for years to come!

This place has it all. Everyone loved the place and we had an amazing time.

The beach was very quiet and clean... the heated pool was perfect. The house met every expectation and more! Absolutely gorgeous... close and convenient for little ones to go and off of the beach. Will return!
