Hotel tries hard with the mid-century decoration and instagrammable backgrounds but found parts of the place a bit tired and poorly maintained. Close to the beach but it rained so we couldn't go for a swim. We liked the mural.

Hens night going off in the hotel from the time we arrived which was annoyingly noisy. The room was more than a bit stinky so there was an automatic (chemical) air-freshener pumping out to cover the smell. There is no door on the bathroom so little privacy when having a shower and using the toot. No off-street parking for this hotel either so we were very lucky to find a non-metered spot close-by.

Great location, cool retro styling. Nice rooftop space available. Very obliging manager.

Car parking can be difficult at peak times for beach.

Location and facilities were amazing - really unique and quirky hotel.

The help/service at reception was really disappointing and unfriendly. The cleaners and other staff made up for it and were really friendly round the hotel.

We had the King suite and it was beautiful. Had an old record player that actually worked. Had a roof top bar and live music. Would definitely recommend this hotel

The rooms had so much character, loved the CD player. The lovely Brazilian hostess was so wonderful, entertaining, great smile and made us feel very welcome

Room was a good size. Location central. Bed comfortable but low.

No powerpoints near the bed? Had to drag a cable across the floor so could use a sleep apnea machine. TV was so small (32") for a 'deluxe' room with a king bed. Paid for an upgraded room but had no ocean view unless you walked outside to verandah. Also meant we were moved to the front of the hotel, facing the road, and couldn't have blinds open. Not worth the extra money. Only parking was public carpark across the road. Noisy from bar downstairs. Not enough vanity space in bathroom or anywhere to put toiletry bags etc Probably a 'funky' hotel for party goers or surfers. Would choose a quieter hotel next time with secure parking and better facilities.

Great fun place to stay. The rooftop is fantastic.

Reception hours are a bit bewildering, gone at 3.30 , no staff when checking out at 8.00. Have to call just so I can get emailed my bill. TV had to use paper against Ethernet cable just to get a picture and no parking only on street or across the road

The staff were so hospitable, a beautiful soul. Our room was perfect in the best part of the hotel. We couldn't have asked for more. Fantastic stay, in a fabulous and friendly place.

There was nothing that my mum and I didn't like.

The decor was fun and was close to the beach and restaurants.

The walls were paper thin. You could hear people walking up and down the stairs, showering, child crying day and night.

The Pink Hotel was great - a good vibe, clean and had everything we needed. Location is very close to the beach. Staff were very accommodating when we needed to arrive early for an event and the communication from them was great.

Location isn't quiet but that's an acceptable pay off for being close to everything, and the hotel does supply earplugs if they are needed (we didn't need them when we stayed but it's good that they provide the option).
