Loved the location down by the harbor. We were able to walk to a lot of different restaurants and stroll around the harbor at night after our day time excursions. Hosts were quick to respond to any quesitons we had and even called me when we had an issue with getting the stove to work, which was then quickly resolved.

Had a great stay in Reykjavik. Very convenient, easy to find, we walked almost everywhere and was easily walkable to the main attractions in downtown. Owners were great and quick to reply! The bathroom was small but not a problem as it had everything needed. The laundry was a big help for us!

This apartment is in a great location. The hosts are very responsive. The beds are comfortable and the apartment is clean and well stocked. The bathroom is tiny. Another drawback is that you can hear the people who live upstairs. Also if anyone sleeps on the pullout sofa an eye mask is essential because there aren’t adequate shades on the windows that block out the light.

The apartment was quite nice. I suffered a bit from allergies while there, which is unusual for me. Not sure what caused it and it may be totally unrelated to the apartment, but the bathroom was a bit musty and the pillow on my bed could have been made from feathers. As a friendly suggestion, a couple of new pillows and a small coffee pot would have allowed me to give your place a top-notch rating! The location is terrific. Regards, David Danehower

I wanted something near harbour and this fitted perfectly. Due to flight rearranging I landed early morning but Anna was kind enough to let me check in early.

The location was super convenient. Literally 5 or 10 minutes to a multitude of attractions downtown, including grocery stores and the government run liquor store. We walked to the harbor for our puffin tour, the Harlan for shows, the world famous hot dog stand Baejarins Bestu, and our favorite watering hole, Frederiksen. The apartment has fast wi-fi, laundry facility, and a kitchen. Typical of apartments in Iceland, everything is small, but perfectly adequate. We loved our stay there.

The appartment was close enough to the city centre and supermarkets for convenience - but relatively quiet being near the old harbour area. The appartment was fine for two people and had all the features that we wanted. Being able to dry off wet jackets and towels in its little laundry room was a bonus.

We enjoy the stay the location is the best. You are close to all the best restaurants and everything is just in walking distanse from this aparpment. Best location ever 🥰

We have two small children and found the apartment to be the perfect size for us during our stay. There's a nice little playground a short walk away on Nýlendugata. As others have said, the location is great and we were able to walk everywhere even with the little ones. We went for ice cream at Valdís every night of our stay! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and drinks. The beds were comfy with plenty of cosy bedding. The sink and toilet area of the bathroom is snug but the shower is fantastic for taller people like me as it has a nice high sunflower shower head. Our host was extremely helpful and accommodating particularly when our return flight was cancelled and we needed to stay an additional night on short notice.

It was a really good place to stay for family. perfect location to pick-up bus(only 1min.from Icelandair hotel marina) and warm house with hot spring water for shower and very convenient kitchen with useful basic sauces, enough dishes just like being at my home and enough space for 5 peoples. I am sure that the owner of this property might be very considerable for travellers. we really enjoyed this cosy harbor house and Iceland. Iceland is the best place to visit we love it. we appreciate everything in Iceland. we will visit again definitely!!!! Thank you!!!

The best part of the apartment was the location, right across the road from the harbour area. Four museums were in easy walking distance (Saga Museaum, Maritime Museum, Northern Lights, and the Whale Museum), and downtown was also an easy and pleasant walk away. As well, for convenience, we could walk to three different grocery stores (we liked the Kronin the best for selection and fresh produce), and there was also a gas station and a pharmacy nearby. Although the apartment was located directly beside a somewhat busy road, it was nice and quiet inside the apartment, especially at night so we slept well. We recommend this apartment, and we would stay here again.

The location was great for exploring the city. It was easy to access the apartment, no problem with parking and close to everything you need. It was quiet and cozy.

Harbor area apartment worked well for our family of three. We did not have a car and we were able to walk everywhere from the apartment. In three days we walked 50 kilometers. I liked the plush bathroom towels.

My wife and 3 kids throughly enjoyed our stay. The location worked out perfectly for us with the Old Harbor being across the street and lots of places to eat just up the road. We also were within walking distance of 2 grocery stores. The washer is in the boiler room, so drying clothes was a snap. Great experience.

Charming apartment and enough room for our family of four. Great location and we really enjoyed being right at the Harbor and nearby restaurants. Our host was very accommodating and helpful. Will stay again if we are able to get back for another visit.

Location-location-location. This apartment is located 5 min from Saga Museum, Aurora borealis museum, 3 grocery stores (large) and whale museum -- all a must see. Also a 10 min walk to the walking street which has great restaurants and a wonderful book store. You can walk all over Reykjavik from this location. The apartment is very comfortable and incredibly quiet, even on Fri and Sat nights, and I cooked dinners -- the kitchen is well stocked to prepare any kind of meal. There are lots of restaurants within 5 minutes but we enjoyed the open feeling of the living room and kitchen combined.
