Location fantastic. Coffee machine good. Towels good. Shower good. Shampoo and conditioner provided.

No staff on site. Initial room allocated was nothing like the photos, had to change rooms. Several light bulbs out. Room 308 is old, dated, loud fridge, on a busy road. Room 506 much nicer decor, warmer, no kitchen in the middle of the room, higher and therefore quieter.

I liked that it was close to everything. The room was clean and comfortable.

We were next to a bar, so you’ll need ear plugs if you’re a lite sleeper. Make sure that you put a towel in front of the crack of the shower door, so you can prevent the water from going all over the floor.

Die Unterkunft war sauber &' sehr Zentral, alles war sehr gut zufuss erreichbar &' es hatte Bushaltestellen in der nähe. Der Check- In verlies reibungslos per SMS mit den zugangsdaten, da wir erst um 23:00 Uhr ankamen.

Bei der Buchung war nicht vermerkt, das sie keine täglichen Reinigungen machen. Sie haben jedoch im Hotel einen QR- Code den man scannen kann wo alles drin steht. Hätte ich jedoch lieber vor der Reise gewusst. Man kan ihnen eine Mail schreiben wenn man etwas benötigte, was ich auch getan habe als ich frische Handtücher wollte. Mann muss ihnen lassen sie schreiben sehr schnell zurück jedoch schickten sie mir eine Mail zurück für eine Weg beschreibung im Hotel zum Keller das ich mir selber Handtücher hollen kann, wo man jedoch einen Code brauchte um rein zukommen, denn sie mir nicht mitgeschickt haben. Anschliessend haben sie mir eine zweite Webeschreibung geschickt wie ich durch das Hotel in ein anderes Hotel gelange &' mich dort bei der Rezeption selbständig in den schränken bedienen durtfe. Dies habe ich nicht gemacht, da ich mich dabei unwohl fühlte. Also Servictechnisch fande ich das Hotel schlecht für das, dass es mit 3- Sternen deklariert wird.

It was absolutely not very clean and a crazy noisy position Above a bar, the offer earplugs complementary, which is a joke because it’s so loud that he might be really sitting in the bar as well so if you’re trying to sleep, it’s a very noisy location. The floor is filthy and the water has no proper pressure to close the bathtub with. Disappointed

Sehr sauberes Zimmer, gutes Bett und super Lage.

This was a "value" hotel. The price was reasonable and the location was excellent (except for the noisy bars nearby). The hotel has no onsite reception but help was available (quickly but not instantly) via text, e-mail, or phone. Luggage storage is free but open to all residing in the hotel.

Although the location was excellent, noisy bars nearby played music until very late. The room was very small but had the necessities. The main door was unlocked all the time (remember, no front desk!), but maybe this reflects Reykjavik being a safe city.
