Great location, fantastic, deep ,enormous pool and always free for morning swim l. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Selection of food quite poor but restaurant staff nice and friendly( tired as hard as possible to make it up).

The staff at reception were very helpful and the apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable - as indeed the complex was overall. The balcony was also large with a good view. The location of the apartments is excellent - close to the coast but also a short level walk from the old parts of Puerto de la Cruz. Security is good and the atrium of the first Bahia building is spectacular. The swimming pool was great and the water was just the right temperature - not too warm or cold. The rooftop solarium was a bonus too. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby and it's a very short walk to a couple of lovely beaches.

The food in the restaurant was disappointing and often not labelled correctly. I would self-cater and eat out if I stayed there again. The curtains in the bedroom were thin and let in a lot of light. Finally, though I don't think this was unusual in hotels here, the pool didn't open until 10am, which was frustrating for those who like a pre-breakfast swim!

Great location, lovely apartment and some very helpful and friendly staff.

The large pool was heated, however, it was a shame that the small pools weren't. We were there with a child and it was difficult to take her swimming as the large pool was too deep for us to stand and hold her and the shallow pools were cold.

Location is great: close to the beach, city center, bus station, Loro park. Huge balcony.

Dining is a bit simple (very humble choice in the buffet) but service in the restaurant is great.

Ok of you need something practical witb no surprises, just don't expect a gourmet experience. Despite the huge size of the complex, they made an effort to make it pleasant to the eyes with some vegetation.. Good location for the nearby zoo and beach.

Nothing was great or exceptional, although nothing was really bad either. The ceiling above the shower was in a bad state and pieces of paint were falling down. No coffee at the evening buffet :(

Personnel, location, swimming pool, apartment size and facilities

1. There are some bushes near the hotel buildings. Groups of roosters and hens live there. Every morning, starting from circa 5a.m. the bloody roosters start to crow. And they do it again and again, every second minute, then stop, then start again. It may seems to be funny but it is not. Closed windows don't help. You just can't sleep and start your day broken and debilitated. We've asked to change the room and were moved to another building in this complex. This costed extra since the second apartment was larger. Unfortunately it didn't help because there were other bushes near new place with other roosters. We were very disappointed that we were not told that the second, more expansive apartment has the same problem! The hotel and city authorities have to do something about it. They have to decide whether this is a place for roosters and hens or for people. There is another, 4-star hotel next to Bahia. I am sure they have the same problem. Because of the above I can't recommend this place for anyone. On opposite - try to stay away from it. 2. There was quite food variety in the hotel's restaurant but unfortunately it was rather tasteless.

The apartment we were staying at was on the 6th floor on the corner so you could see the sea and Mount Teide from the massive balcony. The decor was nice and simple and the bed was comfortable. The sheltered black sand beach was only a short walk away and the shop in the complex had everything we needed. i liked all the plants cascading from the internal flower boxes and the breakfast was good. it was great value for money, and we much preferred staying on the North of the Island than the South West coast.

When we arrived it was impossible to find nearby parking to be able to check in and get the details for the on site parking. After driving round the block 3 times I had to run in while my partner continued to drive around. The cooking utensils / equipment were quite limited in the apartment but we were very happy with everything else.

Nice big apartment very clean with view at the seaside. Good location and comfortable bed. The food at the buffet was very delicious in breakfast and night. The people that work there super friendly. We would come again.

the food for the half board was horrible very poor quality. from the first day I complained and the hotel agreed to pay me back the money for the half board an month later and many phone calls back and for with them and booking. com still waiting to get my money back.

!!!!!! cockroaches!!!! video below Very disappointing hotel, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone, we had cockroaches in our room, we talked to the night manager that said that he would notify the manager and he would get back to us. He never did so I sent numerous messages with no reply. on top of the lack of hygiene, the food was atrocious, we ended up only eating there once it was so bad, the pool is not heated like advertised and is starting to deteriorate.

The hotel is a bit outdated

It was on a quiet place, close to the beach. We got bigger apartment than we ordered, it was huge with a very big teracce with a ocean view. Very clean. Very comfort bed.

Walking distance from the beach and Puerto de la Cruz. The entrance of the property is truly stunning. Lots of plants hanging from the inside balconies :) it's very calm and relaxing, perfect for an arrival on holiday ! We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony, it was nice, spacious and clean. The bedroom had a decent size and the bed was a bit hard but still comfy. Location is good but you must rent a car to visit the island. The north of the island is often covered by a sea of clouds therefore most tourists go to the south during the day.

Restaurant : There is not much information on how the restaurant operates or signs at the entrance for the guests to understand they have to wait outside. The breakfast was nice but dinner was not that great so we decided to eat out instead.

We loved everything about Bahia Playa and above all we loved the great staff! Daniel, the receptionist is a lovely and very helpful person with a great sense of humor. His colleague receptionists also were super nice and helpful. The staff at the restaurant is just as great. Christopher will cook all you ask in the most excellent way possible. The entire staff at BP was fantastic and made our stay even more wonderful. We had the nicest time at Bahia Playa in general and would definitely want to return to Bahia Playa in the future if we have a chance to come back to Tenerife. Muchas gracias to everyone there!

Everything was really great People were nice, food is good even it's not exceptional. Everything is clean. My children enjoyed the pools.

The food quality could be improved and some signs and arrows indicating reception, gym etc. would be great as its very easy to get lost at the property.
