Great location! Definitely dated throughout but for the money it's ideal. You can walk to many restaurants/bars and shops. Good communication. Would stay again.

close to everything you need

We have stayed at the Friendly Native before but not at this unit! It was excellent! Had breakfast by the window every morning at the high top. The layout was great and the location was fantastic! So convenient to be at the pool or Gulf in a matter of minutes! We will definitely be back!

Perfect location right across the street from beach access, comfortable beds with plenty of towels and a fan in each bedroom if needed. Some basic beach gear is in the utility closet and the kitchen is well appointed although you will be hand washing dishes. Everyone had a great time, will certainly consider this property again when visiting in the future.

Great location on this cozy condo overlooking the pool. There's a small ocean view, as well. The condo is older, and a bit outdated, but was clean and well equipped. You can definitely hear your neighbors through the floors/ceiling. The beach is just across the street and lots of restaurants/bars just a few blocks away.

Kitchen is small but ok, quite a few light bulbs were not working, fixture in kitchen not working, the location is great, lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and great beach basically a 2 minute walk, parking your vehicle is good, one issue they don’t have recycling everything goes in the garbage, wine bottles, beer cans, plastics, everything in the garbage, that’s terrible, you should change that, all in all it’s comfortable and location location, thumbs up

We needed a reasonably-priced place near the beach for a long weekend. This unit worked great for us as it was just a short walk to the beach and had everything else we needed nearby.

Beds were comfortable. Great location to walk to the beach, food and shops. Our contact was wonderful and very quick to respond to our questions. We will definitely stay again. My only recommendation is a cover on the couch that appears a bit older.

Great location! We did have a few dishes that were dirty when we arrived. Other than that, everything was great and we enjoyed our time there!

Very clean, property as described. Beach within very short walking distance. Would recommend renting from Roger, and if we return to St. Pete we will look for this property again.

Apartment was just like discribed in add. All went well, pool was nice and sea was just across the road.

We had an amazing stay at the Friendly Native condos! The location was excellent! Close proximity to the beach & local restaurants. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the St.Pete Beach area!!!

Nice place.Roger was great with communication (this was our first experience w- a VRBO) The only down fall was our neighbors were very heavy footed and when they arrived we we're woken up very early. We'd definitely stay again

I'll start with the positives: the location is great and communication with the property manager was also great. They let us check in early and that was very much appreciated. The not-so-positives include the shower curtain liner (moldy) which has been mentioned in other reviews, several light bulbs needed replacement, a family of nocturnal pachyderms live in the unit above this one and they have absolutely no regard for anyone else. You are also told at check-in that you have to throw away trash and clean up dishes (which we probably would have done anyway), or you will be charged for those, even though there is already a cleaning fee applied. Parking was easy and several restaurants are within walking distance. Plenty of good towels supplied and the beach chairs were a nice touch.

We had a great experience with our stay. It is close to everything, beach, bars, food, dancing all within walking distance! Will definitely come back if we get the chance. Thanks!

Property location was great. It simply located across from the beach. Budget friendly , but nothing elaborate. If your going to just go to the beach and sleep and not expecting anything else it’s perfect. Pool area was nice. There was some beach chairs in the closet that helped too. Little bit of mildew on the shower curtain but hey, that’ll be a easy fix. If we come back in the area would stay again

The room was fine. But, the 2nd bedroom needs the dresser removed for more room. (They should put a dresser in closet) Hard for 2 to get in bed with such small room. Also, the shower is the worst design I have ever seen. Very odd/small with a curtain. Water gets on the floor constantly. Overall we enjoyed are stay, but felt we should mention these issues for future users.

Close to the beach, quiet.

The location to the beach and restaurants is perfect. We rented a car and except for the grocery run we didn’t need it! My only problem with this unit was the upstairs neighbors. They were very noisy. This was no fault of the host, just making people aware that this maybe something to consider if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a jumping in the pool after working hard to move my son into college. The beach is a quick walk across the parking lot. We loved relaxing and taking morning walks on the beach. I would come here next year. We were close enough to walk to restaurants and ice cream. We had problems with the cable but the manger reached out to us quickly and helped us so that we could watch the game in the living room.

Our condo was on 2nd floor. No elevator. Air conditioner stayed on 75. FYI-no fans in bedrooms. There was a small fan I used to keep the bathroom aired out during showers but I had to take it apart and wash it. Very dusty. No dishwasher... must hand wash. Beds were comfortable. Shower curtain needed replacing due to mildew. Other than the small stuff. Awesome. Upham Beach is beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was close to the beach and the pool was nice. We will definitely be back to visit in the future.

Great place. There was an issue with the toilet not refilling. Since it was a very minor issue and I was able to figure out a fix, I did not complain or report the issue. Other tenants like a “Karen” would have complained.
