Our stay at the Jabal Omar Hilton Makkah Convention Hotel was exceptional. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the view of the Haram was breathtaking.
The location of the hotel is perfect for pilgrims, as it is just a short walk to the Haram. This convenience made it easy for us to attend prayers without any hassle. Additionally, the hotel is situated near several shopping and dining options, which was very convenient for us.
Also want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Basser Tayuan - who from the moment we arrived, greeted and welcomed us with warmth and proved to be really helpful in sorting out our bags to getting us checked in earlier by working with Hamadhi (exec at the Hilton Honors Desk). This support & hospitality was truly commendable and appreciated. I would like to also express my gratitude to the cleaning room attendant, Ashraful Islam who made sure the rooms were kept clean & refreshed. Lastly everyone at the reception were really nice and welcoming and ensured a smooth process without any hassle.
Overall, our experience at the Jabal Omar Hilton Makkah Convention Hotel was wonderful, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Makkah.
I couldn't find anything i didn't like - overall it was a good stay at the hotel.
Maybe more water bottles daily would be ideal given the hot & dry climate.

Good breakfast, large and clean room.
The location of the hotel is a short walk from Haram, although situated on a hill. While the descent to Haram is a 5-10 minutes walk (depending on the Haram gate you need), the climb back could be challenging, particularly for older people or those with mobility issues.
Before arrival, I faced a communication issue through booking.com, trying to inform the hotel of my late arrival. The exchange was lengthy and unproductive, with the operator repeatedly misunderstanding my messages, suggesting I needed to book an extra night for arriving early. Upon arrival, I was dismayed to find my booking had been cancelled due to the miscommunication about my arrival time. Thankfully, the receptionist was able to reinstate my booking without further issues.
Additionally, there was an instance where I needed assistance from the reception, but my calls went unanswered for 20 minutes. I ended up having to go down to the reception in person to resolve my concern. Another disappointing moment was when I requested an iron and was sent one that was dirty, resulting in stains on my white shirt.
I wasn’t going to report such issues, however this was particularly upsetting given the premium pricing of the hotel.

Excellent for umrah during Ramadan. Very convenient for suhoor and iftar. The prayer area on the 3rd floor was good too.
People cutting lines for the cafe downstairs by the lobby. There needs to be protocol.

Location is good, but only a short distance further away from the Haram compared to the other hotels in clock tower. But that's fine as there were electric shuttles available. Breakfast was very good but at peak Ramadan months the service gets a bit stretched for your kitchen and waiting staff, I felt a bit sorry for your staff even though the service they provided was still excellent!
The downstairs Lobby bathrooms needed more frequent cleaning despite the fact that they are reserved for customers with access cards only. Again, it could be due to the busy time of year in Ramadan.

التعامل من اول موظف قابلته الى الخروج بالاضافة الى اللي نظف الغرفة صباح يوم السبت و موظفة الاستقبال عند الخروج ظهر يوم الاحد

الحرص على ملء عبوات جل الاستحمام والشامبو بدورات المياه
لكن هذه لا تلغي المتعة والراحة اللي واجهناها بالمكان

Hotel très bien situé à 2 pas du Haram, suite junior avec vue époustouflante sur le Haram. Nous étions une famille de 5 personnes et la superficie de la suite était suffisante.
Tout était parfait, hôtel très propre, personnels à l'écoute et bienveillants.
Petits déjeuners sous forme de buffets variés et très bons,, grand espace de restauration où nous pouvions manger en toute tranquillité.
J'ai tout apprécié, tout était parfait

La propreté, la proximité du haram et la vue de la suite sur l’entrée principale du haram mais pas la Kaaba..en soit ce n’est pas grave, en 4mn, et via le tunnel gate, vous avez accès directement au haram.. une petit dej plus que varié, sucre, salé chacun y trouve son compte…petits et grands 😊
Lors de la réservation nous avions notifié être 6 personnes, nous n’avions que 4 lits, après négociation rude ( alors que nous étions dans notre droit) et que nous l’avions fait validé par mail, ils ont voulu nous faire payer, 2 lits d’appoints dès notre arrivée..un peu limite dans un pays dit Muslim qui ne voyait pas dérangeant de laisser les deux enfants dormir on the floor…
Le mail a jouer en notre faveur, nous avons eu grâce au manager conciliant les deux lits pour notre séjour d’une semaine..la place ne manquait pourtant.

Wir haben Kinderbett bestellt. Es hat 2 Tage gedauert und nach mehrmaligen Telefonat bis wir endlich das Bett bekommen haben. Obwohl es schon alles von Anfang an bei der Buchung besprochen.
Die Leute, die in Rezeption arbeiten, müssen sich neue Stelle finden.

I never seen a Hilton so bad as this ! Very very bad. İt s like a 3 stars hotel.
Guest service don’t answer the calls , first ı enter ın room there was no towells . The lock at the back of the door was broken.
No wii fii on our floor, we have to insist too much for they fix all that , the staff at the reception desk was not helpfull at all! Not kind .. will never stay at this hotel antmore.
