Pillows too hard and no air or heat. $65 for Ecuador with neither of those is too much

The hotel serves a very good breakfast with very friendly staff and its location is excellent, very close to shopping malls, restaurants and entertainment venues.

The staff were attentive & the service was excellent Beds were comfortable & the room was clean and crisp. I liked the marble tiles. Lots of storage space and everything worked. The exfoliating soap, shampoo and conditioner was a lovely touch. Often these little extras are disappearing from establishments and these sweetened the stay for me. El Jardin restaurant was lovely, comfortable chairs, spacios, good service. I loved the pan de yuca and friendly waiters who were patient with my language barrier.

I booked the hotel because it's listed as having a spa facility. I was disappointed to find out that the spa is a 5 minute walk away from the premises. I had to book via Instagram to be diverted to WhatsApp and then make a booking. I think this would be better if it's communicated and if reception had the spa price list and specials on hand. Reception can make booking arrangements for the guests especially if the guest speaks no or little Spanish. Once I found my way to Happiness Spa, the massuese was great. I enjoyed the massage and facial special. I am sure international guests would appreciate an excellent cup of coffee in the morning at breakfast. Ecuador grows it's own coffee and I feel all hospitality establishments should serve top quality coffee. I expected more than the weak concoction that tasted like instant coffee. Otherwise, everything else was lovely. Good value for money.

Staff was absolutely amazing. I need help with covid test for return travel. They found facility where I can get this and then I did not worry about this. Hotel has amazing restaurant with great food and wine list too.
