The building is beautiful on the outside and we loved the contemporary rooms. The staff were so friendly and helpful and it’s in a great location with a few minutes walk to the vaporetto station. Excellent breakfast the presentation was outstanding too.

A short walk from the water-busses, the hotel is centrally located around many stores, restaurants, and bars. The room was cosy and newly renovated: there were plugs everywhere to charge devices. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The gym was small but contained everything one would need. The staff was great.

Room service was not 24 hours.

Fabulous staff where nothing was any bother. Very comfortable bed and room with front views. Wonderful breakfast in the conservatory to set you up for the day and a charming restaurant for evening meals. The terrace bar and roof bar were a favourite!

This is not a 5 start hotel in terms of the service received despite charging 5-star prices. All in it was a very disappointing experience. The spa and pool were however excellent with attentive and well trained staff. It is only a short walk to the ferry on Lido so a good location.

Reception staff did not assist with simple questions asked regards transport providing completely inaccurate information. We had dinner booked in the rooftop restaurant which I'd organized beforehand for our anniversary. It had to be cancelled due to a storm passing but this was not communicated to us. No one assisted with rebooking us into the downstairs hotel restaurant, and we ended up not having dinner. We then went for drinks in the bar and were ignored by the staff and charged incorrectly at the end. If you're going to a 5 start hotel you have an expectation of service and in this case it was not met.

Outdoor pool was cold. Decor in the communal areas was a little worn. Despite the 5 star rating the food & drink prices are on the high side, €20 for a single scotch is a tad expensive for me.

they simply didn’t have the staff to cater and provide the service the hotel offers to its customers. you had to wait a long time for drinks. The terrace bar is shocking to dine out in. the food has to travel from downstairs. it’s very cold by the time it gets to you. there was only 1 member of staff. so no one to maintain service at the terrace bar whilst he running up and down collecting food. no staff serving at pool bar. no staff emptying tables. our door was left open twice by housekeeping after we had been out all day. we paid a premium rate for 5 star service. simply and frankly. the hotel couldn’t offer this. more like a 3 star service. at best. they’ve clearly got some issues internally that need resolving ASAP.

at times, the staff was not present by the pool and there were no towels; and the ability to have a drink on the roof was limited by dinner reservations.

Breakfast was superb; staff friendly and the pool very refreshing.

The cost of dining at the hotel was extravagant even for a 5 star. Prima pasta dish at 35 euro priced out my family of six and was two thirds more costly than the prices in the local restaurants. Also, my impression was that the hotel had a small private area on the beach but in fact this was not the case. The beach was close by but an extra cost.
