Goed bed en koelkast

The location was perfect. 8 min walk from the train station and right in the center of everything. I ended up booking the twin room w/private bathroom and it was like a mini-apartment with a bedroom, kitchenette, toilet, and bathroom. Perfect for my weekend stay. The bedroom was in the back room, away from the street, so I barely noticed any street noise. Fast wi-fi, clean, comfortable, and with a small fridge, electric kettle, and microwave.

There wasn't any cutlery, plates, bowls, etc. Only paper cups and wooden coffee stirrers. So I had to buy some to use for my stay. The sink in the kitchenette room wasn't functional, so I had to clean the dishes I had bought in the bathroom sink. And yes, the stairs are pretty extreme. Not recommended for people who are unsteady on their feet or have joint issues. Still, I would definitely stay here again!

Great location near the train station and an easy walk to the center. The guy who runs the pension is very nice and helpful. It was nice to have a fridge in the room as well as tea and coffee. The room was clean and so was the shared bathroom. Value for money at 50 euros a night as the next cheapest room in town is 20 euros more. This is an old school pension with lots of Dutch charm and character. Good free wifi and TV.

As others have mentioned, there is some street noise as it is on a busy street near the center, but i would stay again if I was ever to return to groningen.
