We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Lindenwirt. The hotel has a very strong traditional flair and perfect location being right on the historic Drosselgasse. The rooms are spacious and fully renovated. The hotel restaurant offers great food and local wine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They did their best to find and book a table for us at the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening despite our arrival and check-in late in the afternoon.

It was quite noisy until late at night, but that is probably normal on Saturday at a fully booked hotel.

The location was incredible. You could walk to everything - Drosselgasse, the ferry dock and the train station. The breakfast was fantastic and they have both a dinner restaurant and a casual beer garden to dine at.

The WiFi wasn’t strong at all preventing a family member from joining a zoom call. Even in the lobby area the WiFi was sketchy. Their wifi needs a booster. The room was very hot and while it didn’t have AC, a fan was not provided either which made for an u uncomfortable sleep. At checkout I tried 5 difference credit cards from 3 different business institutions and was told that none would go through (which is true they didn’t go thru). I had to pay for the room in cash due to this. However, I then used my cards again 5 minutes later elsewhere - and they all worked perfectly and went thru just fine and they continued to work perfectly for the remainder of my vacation elsewhere. Again, it seems their wifi or credit processing machines could use a booster in order to prevent this from happening to someone else, as it seeks to work sometimes and not other times.

Friendly staff. Good information. Central location but not directly on a Main street. Children friendly.

Parking very good. Location good. Good breakfast.
