The property is 5min walk from the central station and the cathedral. Great connectivity with public transport. The apartment was pretty big, with living area, bedroom and kitchen. They maintain a high level of cleanliness, apartment was cleaned daily.

There is nothing didn't like as such.

Arrangement for breakfasts was not clear , but in common food was nice .

Wonderful place in a wonderful city. I couldn't recommend Residenz am Dom enough. Wir werden zuruckkommen! :)

This was a fabulous place. My only helpful comment is that some softer pillows would greatly aid a good night's sleep.

Ideal location near the Cologne HBF station and Dom . Value for money and big apartment with clean bathrooms .Nothing to regret about ........

Very close to dome, very silent hotel, rooms are big, clean and newly decorated, pool etc., 7/24 reception, daily cleaning and towel supply.

Wi-fi connection is like 56k modem and constantly disconnected. In 2022 a hotel like this has access more efficient and fast connection.

Keep in mind that this is a nursing home. Can be delicate in terms of social climate if you’re not really for it, but was not the biggest inconvenience for us. Cockroaches. We saw two of them in the bathroom and in the kitchen. A serious hygiene matter for me. Unbelievably rude guy, Alexander Miller, working night shifts. He kept telling us that there are no cockroaches in Germany (of course there are). When we showed him the photo we took in the bathroom, he said that we brought a cockroach with us to get a refund… This behavior left me speechless, we never asked for a reimbursement, only to solve this problem, for example, by changing the room. He also said that he is not here to help us to solve the matter but that he is just working at the reception. This is not my understanding of the role at the reception desk. It’s important for me to highlight this situation, so maybe the guy can be trained how to behave with guests, what his role is, etc, so the other guests would not experience what we had. Other members of the staff were nice and respectful.

Location amazing! So clean and apartment was cleaned and fresh towels every day, more than if we had went to a hotel! Will definitely be telling friends about this diamond. 24 hour reception desk for you to go and come as you please.

If the pool had been open it would have been better.

Slow elevator

Great location and spacious apartment with pretty much everything provided that you'd require. Decent value for money compared to other similar options in the City.

Door lock was slightly tricky (might have just been us) and the lift could take a while trying to leave of a morning, but these are only minor issues.

Location is perfect- very close to the central station and the main streets. desk was available 24h room was quite big.

Excellent location. Very close to the city centre and the circular road. Guys and girls at the reception are just too good. A big shout out to Alexander Muller and all the ladies at the reception over 3 days of my stay! They are very knowledgable and helpful with tourist information and hacks! Everything was great and I highly recommend this place.

Great location and great value for money. Apartments were large and well maintained if a little delayed.

I've really mixed views about this place because there are some great positives to be said about it but It's a nursing home. The average age of guests is in their late 70's, if not higher. It's a full on working nursing home and there's no getting away from this fact. It feels like an institution. You will encounter many people in nurses uniforms and many elderly/disabled residents as you go in and out to your apartment. I almost felt that I needed to explain to reception for coming in late and I certainly didn't feel comfortable about even putting a TV or music on after about 10pm. The only staff I encountered were the reception staff and from the initial encounter until departure one after the other they seemed to be consistently unhappy, grumpy, miserable, not the sort of people I'd have been asking advice from anyway. Entirely my own fault for not having picked up on this before booking, so hands up here. And there are many people I know who would see a lot of what I consider negatives to be positives but I won't be returning.

So convenient to the historical sights of Cologne but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. The apartment was clean and spacious with lots of natural light and the balcony was a plus. The kitchenette was adequately furnished for two people. The bathroom was large, well lit and very clean. Water pressure in the shower was great. The beds were comfortable and plenty of storage space available. I found most stay to be friendly and helpful.

The big thing was the unreliability of the WIFI. The signal on the 6th floor was extremely weak. If the rental apartments are concentrated up there, it might be worthwhile to investigate installing an additional router on that floor to boost the signal. It made working almost impossible, which was a shame.
