we loved the beautiful gardens and all the birds. the horse was a plus the property had a wonderful vintage feel

I would suggest showers instead of bathtubs the hand shower was too small

The is nothing I liked about that place. I didn't even sleep there and end up forfeiting my mother. The place was too creepy for me. So please be clear in your advert that your place is like a museum sothat we know before hand. False advertising 💯

The breakfast was good. No problem here.

The shower set-up in the bath was substandard. With a little bit of good workmanship, the functionality could be improved. We did not expect the steel stairs leading to our room. This should be noted on the website.

This place is a Garden of Eden with beautiful plants, flowers, dogs and even a horse. Very nice rooms, a pool and a great breakfast. Run by lovely people and Rietvleidam Nature Reserve around the corner. Easy to find when driving to or from the airport. Felt at home from the first second and keep coming back. Almost unbelievable to find a place like this so close to the city. Best place to stay when arriving or flying from at OR Tambo, or when needing to stay in Pretoria/Jo' burg area. Highly recommended!

There was nothing that I didn't like

a large venue with beautiful gardens befitting a wedding venue. breakfast was good and the dining area allowed for enjoyable conversation. we especially liked the birds visiting the feeders

Getting there should be easier as it is only a short distance off the main road, but the Garmin couldn’t find it and Google maps placed it further down the road

The setting is tranquil, rustic and calming.

Wished there was aircon. Room was rather chilly and the wall mounted heaters didnt do much of a difference.
