The price of breakfast which when there’s no buffet if quite overpriced Would’ve thought the pool and spa would be included in the price for a weekend away. Bar price over the top £12.50 for a gin and tonic is over the top.

basically everything was excellent. we felt so relaxed as soon as we entered the hotel and took in the ambiance. breakfast was one of the best. did think the evening menu was a little limited but the quality was excellent,

nothing comes to mind. everything honky dorrie. didnt use spa but it looked great. nothing else to add.

Nice room with very comfortable bed and views across a pond and trees. Spa was wonderful and the bar had Original and Gold from real ales Daniel Thwaites’ Craft Dan Brewery, Ribble Valley, Lancashire.

The hotel is on a large business park so there is nowhere to walk to for food. They charge over £17 for breakfast which is obscene. They did not even have smoked kippers! There is constant noise from M4 and M5 but not enough to keep me awake.

Everything was very good. Very comfortable. The conference facilities were also excellent. Food from the restaurant was good as was the service.

Very over priced - too many extra costs thrown at the guest and not enough value for money. Rooms are over £125 and i chose it because i had an early meeting in the business park and i wanted a hotel nearby and with a pool. I specifically chose this hotel because of the pool, only to discover that it would an extra £10 charge to use. They also charge for parking in the week - 24 hours is £50! ! This is a ridiculous expense to demand of guest who are already paying a not insignificant amount. In the bedroom, be warned that were no plug sockets next to the bed. They are all located on the far side of the room so if you also like to have your phone charging eside the bed, bring an extra long charger. Finally, breakfast was a la cart amd quickly served but the French toast was terrible - dry with no flavour. Not worth the £20.00 charge. Save your money.

Nice decor throughout, comfortable seating areas in room and in bar area. Nice food, despite a few negatives. Good location, close to motorway.

Have to pay for parking. Evening meal not very hot, except for the chips. Limited menu choice, staff unable to say what the fish was for sure. Would prefer a more leisurely breakfast, buffet style, rather than fixed menu table service.

The old lady at the reception was rude and gave us the impression that we were bothering her when we arrived with my parents and boyfriend. She was upset that we booked via Booking.com and made very clear that nothing was included in our reservation (even if we didn’t mind to pay extra to use the spa and facilities, which we did). We didn’t receive the housekeeping service, even if we asked for it and when we tried to contact reception that was an impossible mission (even if I tried to call with my personal phone to the hotel), no one picked up the phone. I am sad and frustrated… my parents came specifically from Barcelona to meet me and my boyfriend. I booked the Aztec Hotel & Spa because I thought it would have been nice to spend time with them and treat them ( I am aware that it was a 4 and not 5 star, but we expected way more from them). We will not come back and I would clearly not recommend it. Take a hotel closer to the center, for sure you will receive a better service

Loved the room, super comfortable and had nice little touches such as big mugs, great coffee / tea / chocolate selection, some good quality snacks, fresh milk and filtered water. We were next to the pond and the sound was so relaxing. Warm decor and didn't have that cold hotel vibe you often get. Loved the birthday card for my partner. Breakfast was amazing. Great shower too.
