Really nice big apartment with a large roof balcony. Was greeted on arrival and got parking just outside. Great value for money.

Its a little too far to walk to the city center but we knew that and it wasn't a problem. Also its just off a busy road but the noise was minimal.

Het was ruim en het welkom was zeer hartelijk. Alles was zeer schoon. Het was meer als wij hadden verwacht. We konden onze rassen laten staan op de dag van vertrek.

Je hoorde de vliegtuigen maar daar hadden we het zelf op uitgezocht.

The AC was not working very well.

Nothing! But if you are driving a car you can easily park in front of the house.

The air conditioning does not work properly. It is only a fan. It is a nightmare sleeping in this apartment with no A/C because it is the last floor so it gets all the sun and heat during the day. The owner tries to convince you that you don’t know how to use it but it does not work. I am very disappointed that places like this are offered at booking.com because you trust the platform and it spoils your holidays. You can not open the windows to breath because there is noisy main road in front of the house and the airplanes when taking off just pass on top of the house. There is an elevator but does not work so there is two floors two climb every time. The house is not 15 minutes away from the Port. It costs 10€ by taxi to ge there!

The owner was gracious and helped us to get in even though it was very late. The apartment was very clean and spacious.

The air conditioner did not work and it was hot so we had to open the windows. Given proximity to the airport, this made for a very noisy night with little sleep. Also it was a walk up and so was tough because we had a lot of luggage.

The location was very practical. The kitchen is well equipped. The studio is spacious. Without working air conditioning it was impossible to sleep.

The air conditioning does not work. There are 46 steps up to the apartment - the description mentions only the top floor, but there is NO working elevator. The towels were old and had a funny smell. There were hairs on the bedding and in the bath drain. The location is not sign posted. The airport noise is only a problem because without the air conditioning you must leave the doors and windows open.

Near the Airport, good if you have an early flight. The apartment has a terrace and was 100% clean. It's spacious, full of light and very well equipped. The communication with the host was excellent.

You have some noise from planes starting. But that's normal next to an airport.

Everything was wonderful. We expected just the basics for a one night stay after an eventful two day's traveling due to French atc strike. Arriving at 12.30 a.m smily lady owner was there to meet us! Apartment is modern, spacious, delightfully clean and the bed is delicious! There are lovely touches like fruit and raki to welcome you. Exceptional find.

Rude taxi driver who resented queuing at the rank for a two minute fare at midnight. I cam see his point and he was rewarded accordingly.

The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was convenient to a small store and restaurants.We appreciated water and ouzo left in the fridge. We contacted the host for information he was responded immediately and was very helpful.

The closeness to the aiport meant that we could hear the planes take off - it was surprisingly noisy despite windows closed.

Apartment very comfortable for spending some days in Heraklion, big terrasse and easy to park just in front of the apartment. There are restaurants nearby.

The elevator was not working but it was not really important because there are not too many stairs.

Had everything we needed after a late landing into airport. Comfortable, clean and had lovely touches to make us feel at home. Really grateful for host who was able to give us directions over the phone after confusion over where it was (more I was tired!) And lovely lady showed us to the apartment. Recommend, ideal location and close to everything.

There wasn't no wifi connetction WHEREAS air condition wasn't working properly

This is the perfect location if you need to spend a night close to the airport or the port. The room was roomy with very nice kitchen zone. There's another apartment missing on the same floor, so the entire area is used as the balcony, which is enormous. You can sit there in the evening and observe planes taking off the airport. Parking was easy, one can find a parking spot with no trouble. There's a supermarket nearby.

The apartment is somewhat distant from the city centre, about 20 minutes on foot. There's not very much interesting around. There is a rather noisy street under the windows. The apartment itself is fine, but all the negative comes from its location. Anyway you choose this location intentionally.
