Very small room and zero soundproofing. We can easily listen the people in nearby room but the worst part was that we were near a small pound with the fish and the sound on heavy rain in that didn't let me sleep all night long.

Heritage area and a property with history! Central area near several MRT stops. Convenient to airport, heritage zones, marina and museums. Bigger space in the deluxe room. Coffee pods in the room that they were happy to resupply. Beautiful, trendy (expensive) bar on premises that is separate from hotel.

It is a trendy, party neighborhood so got a bit loud in wee hours once we were asleep. And they collect garbage noisily in the neighborhood at 3am.The lighting was poor in room and bathroom so hard to read fine print on maps and put on makeup. No extra mirror in main room.

The hotel is full of character. The location is good - interesting neighbourhood and easy to get around. Lots of places to eat and explore nearby. Would stay here again. The shower was amazing. It was like a waterfall - the best shower we've had!

There was an alarm that went off for hours in the early hours of the morning one evening that really disrupted our sleep. They had called a technician to fix the alarm fault, but the technician wasn't there for hours. However after complaining, they did give us 50% off our final night, which was a nice gesture.

The location is good once you figure out the bus routes; the staff were excellent; the outdoor seating areas are useful and the bar with its balcony is excellent

The room for 2 was very cramped and made moving around and using the toilet etc very difficult; no gym or swimming pool was not helpful

I’ve stayed several times in this property and it always meets the mark. The facilities are good and location is excellent.

No breakfast - that used to be part of the booking. Perhaps lack of a fitness centre too.

When we first booked it, we were concerned that the room would be much smaller than pictured (also because space seemed scarce in most Singapore options). We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was despite being compact in style. The staff was excellent and informed us about everything we would need. Location is the best part, it is located in the Kampong Glam area which is one of the best places to stay in Singapore. Even our taxi driver complimented us for choosing that area! Beds were very comfortable as well.

Housekeeping is an option offered only for 3+ nights - we stayed for 2 so we didn't get that option. However it was a not a deal breaker per se. The hot water was good for one shower but another one after would mean somewhat lukewarm water. Again, not a deal breaker since cold showers are quite nice in Singapore weather.

Old window that made the room very noisy and difficult to sleep. Not sure why room service was not provided everyday but it is a putty.

I believe our concerns may be specific to the room we had.The only problem was the bed. The is long and thin, with the bed sandwiched between the two walls and is built on a platform The mattress is then sunk into the platform. this means it is effectively at floor level. this makes getting in and out challenging and in comfortable. The width of the room and positon of the tv also mean that if the bed is slept in by two people, one has to climb over the other to get in and out of bed. The room in question is 217. We’ll stay at the hotel again, but not in the same room!

The check in process was smooth and the staff were extremely helpful as we had several crates to carry into the room. They were helpful as well when it came down to getting to know what is the WIFI as well. We were also grateful that the mini bar was complimentary and appreciated the complimentary dessert given by the hotel.

A majority of the amenities were up to standard by the drop off location was very bad and there isn't a specific location that car hires or taxis can alight without disrupting traffic at the front of the hotel. The room also has a tendency to get quite cold as well if we didn't switch the air con off.
