Het is een prachtig hotel net buiten de binnenstad van Kandy. Het was heel fijn om op zo'n korte afstand toch de drukte van de stad even uit te zijn. De kamer was erf sfeervol en ruim. Er is een zwembad in een heel mooie binnenplaats. Lekker ontbijt.

Ruime kamers met goede douche. Prijs kwaliteit was super. Ontbijt was heel lekker, ook door onze kinderen erg gewaardeerd. Keuze hoe je je eieren wilt bijvoorbeeld. Kaarten via hun gereserveerd voor leuke dansshow in de avond. Dank hiervoor.
Manager heeft ons de eerste dag nog naar een edelsteenbedrijf gebracht omdat de tuk tuk bezet was. Onderweg tipte hij ons om ook te kijken bij een bedrijf wat hout bewerkt en kleurt. Een waarschuwing dat de prijzen van de maskers en overige producten die ze daar verkopen minimaal 3x zo hoog zijn als elders in Kandi was wel erg fijn geweest...

De ligging was voor ons perfect, net buiten de drukte van Kandy maar met een tuktuk prima te rijden. Hele nette kamer met ruime badkamer. Er is een restaurant aanwezig dus daar hebben wij ‘s avonds heerlijk gegeten en ook het ontbijt wordt tot in de puntjes geregeld!
De bedjes bij het zwembad kunnen wel een upgrade gebruiken

The property is beautiful and very clean. All of the staff is super helpful and kind, especially Nalaka. The food is delicious and fairly priced. It’s a little oasis in the middle of Kandy.

The owner and all the staff are very lovely and made us feel very looked after. Including taking us on a day trip to Sigiriya on request and even fixing our adaptor plug when the fuse broke. The whole guesthouse has a very peaceful vibe to it, like a little oasis outside of Kandy. I would definitely stay again
It is slightly out of town - 10mins by tuktuk, which costs 500 rupees each way. However, completely worth it to be in such a lovely guesthouse and to escape the chaos of Kandy.

Really lovely stay, excellent breakfast, clean, comfortable room.
Very friendly and helpful staff - gave us sarongs to visit temple; organised an amazing trek for us last minute ( morning of trek). Thank you again. Great stay.

Spacious rooms and nice big bed! Super clean and modern bathroom. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Good a/c. I recommend you use the tuk tuk driver who works for the hotel. He is really helpful, informative and offers a great price.

Located a little bit out of the town, nevertheless, it is a bit noisy and hard to park in and out. It's advantage is the pool. They provide a very good breakfast.

The property was very nice and the room was spacious, it has a lovely little pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. There is a tuk tuk driver on site who can take you places or they can arrange one for you.
It was very noisy at night, you could hear people in the lobby and other rooms sometimes late into the night. There is also a tannoy nearby that plays chanting from 5am till 6am every morning which woke us up. They do not have a card machine, thankfully we had cash so we’re able to pay for our stay but had we not had enough cash we would have had to get a tuk tuk to get some. It is a little far from the city centre so you will need a tuk tuk to get around.

We enjoyed the stay at Veraima Kandy very much. Rooms vere clean and spacious.
Staff was very kind and helpful. We also took cooking lesson here.
Mr. Gayan drove us around the city, where we visited beautiful botanical garden and then he took us to local market to buy various kinds of vegetable and fish for our cooking class.
Cooking class was lead by Mr. Manjula who taught us how to prepare selection of traditional delicious curries, which we enjoyed later at our dinner.

Place is really comfortable, nice and quiet. Swimming pool is really amazing to have to enjoy the stay when you stress out. The treated me outstanding.
Location is a bit far away from city center. Sometimes challenging to arrive there but owner provide a free pick up tuk tuk at your departure and arrange all you need..

Was great close to the town, but far away from the noisy city. Beautiful rooms and pool the whole hotel is really nicely decorated. Enjoyed our short stay here was perfect

very friendly staff who aranges pick up from the bus station and helps for train tickets to Ella. Nice swimming pool and comfortable rooms with a balcony and nice bathroom! Very good quality for its price.

Very nice and cosy hotel. It had a nice pool and you can also take a delicious breakfast. The host and staff were also very friendly. They helped us discover Kandy and gave good restaurant tips.

Great owner who helped us get train tickets that were sold out everywhere, personnel that drove us to town by scooter to score some groceries, pool is beautiful, rooms were clean and the provided breakfast was great.
Wifi wasnt too great, but that’s about it. Just get a local SIM-card and you’ll be fine on 3/4g. Some might find the walk to Kandy city centre a little too long, but it wasnt too bad and gave us some fine looks of the lesser-known parts of town

The rooms are cozy and clean, the breakfast was delicious and the pool, although we didn't use it a lot because it was cold, it was also clean. Also, the owner and workers are very friendly and always ready to help you. And they give tours for a very fair price! I would repeat there again (:
It is 40 minutes far by walking (with tuktuk takes only 5 minutes) but we appreciate it because the neighbourhood is very quiet and calm.

Naleke and Manju who run the place are so lovely. They helped us book train tickets to Ella and the cultural dance show. Gave us good recommendations for things to do around Kandy and also tips on how to stay safe and what to avoid. The breakfast was insane and the pool was a lovely way to relax after a long day! Would definitely visit again!
Bare in mind the WiFi is slow so if you’re planning to work remotely make sure you have a hotspot!

It was an amazing stay! We had a room upstairs, big and stylish, I loved everything about it. The host and the staff are awesome too; they were extremely helpful at times, nevertheless, not importunate. The food they serve is delicious and the swimming pool is great.

We had a really nice stay here. The rooms are a good size, comfy beds and a decent shower. Really friendly staff who were happy to help with any questions we had on the local area. The breakfast included was delicious. It's hard to fault for the price you pay. We would stay again.
