Grandma & Grandpa gathered all 20 of their children and grandchildren for a Christmas reunion. We played together, prayed together, cooked, baked and ate together. This house accommodated all really well with its spaciousness and well stocked kitchen supplies

This is a nice big house for a family get together. Close to Lake Geneva and grocery stores. The highlights of the house are its sunroon and the fire pit. The house is on a nice quiet, wooded lot. The owner was very considerate. She came out all the way to show us the house while we were booking. No hesitation in recommending the house.

Everything about the house was great! Great location with tons of space. So many bedrooms!!! Only place anyone should choose if they have a big group trip to Lake Geneva. Sun room was a great place to relax and hang out. Tisha is a great host and has great communication.

Other than somewhat captive to car to engage in attractions, great accommodation

The spacious home provided my 20+ person extended family the perfect place to stay during our reunion. The gathering spots (e.g., living room, kitchen, sunroom) are all centralized and on the same level, promoting hanging out together. The numerous bedrooms (most with private bathrooms) then provided the privacy needed at times with such a large group. The property manager was approachable in her communication as well, making it easy to reach out with questions. No complaints whatsoever! We’d definitely stay here again if we ever plan another family reunion in the Lake Geneva area.

We celebrated our parents 60th wedding anniversary with 4 generations of family, (25 people), for a long weekend. The house was perfect for us and we all had a wonderful time. Tisha is a wonderful host and was available for questions before and during our stay. I highly recommend staying here for any large group get together.

We had a wonderful time at the House in the Woods. There were a few technical glitches, that were quickly addressed. The privacy, parking space and all the bathrooms (I have 14 granddaughters, plus their moms) were a real plus. It's the best vacation rental we've had yet.

Wonderful indoor/outdoor space for adults and children to enjoy. Wonderful property, would recommend if you are looking for rental close to town for large group.

Easy access to the property, close to the venue for our event. Close to Lake Geneva with lots to do.

We had a large family gathering for six nights. We had a total of 20 people with three of the kids under two years old. Then, there was another child at age 2.5, and another at four and then several in the 6 to 8 year-old range. we had 10 adults. Functionally the house contained us very well. Bedrooms were clean and nice and no one complained about beds being uncomfortable. My wife and I both thought our bed was comfortable. It was very warm in the upper 80s a lot of the days we were there. The air conditioning worked fine in the house but in the sunporch which we liked to use, it became quite warm and could not take care of that area adequately. But, keep in mind there is a large great room as well. We used that more during that time. I thought that the owner, Letitia, did a great job of servicing our stay. Her communication was very prompt and accurate. even the grill was cleaned up nicely outside, which I find to be very unusual in a rental! Location is excellent with good access to Lake Geneva town city very good. Geneva Lake swimming at Williams Bay Beach was very close as well Requiring only a short drive. It’s a very nice beach and all the kids really enjoyed it. Several of us golfed the Geneva national golf course which was a lot of fun and so nice to be very close to that as well. Many of us went mini golfing, drove through the Safari and had a lot of fun hanging out, playing yard games at the rental home.

This is a great house for a large family gathering! Super close to all the Lake Geneva activities.

Beautiful home - great for large groups

we had a large group using the house as a retreat for 2 nights. kitchen excellent size and the 2 ovens unbelievably useful as were the 2 refrigerators. the enclosed sun room perfect for the music lovers. the bonfire pit was well used. Parking very easy for all cars involved. the proximity to Lake Geneva was perfect but the seclusion of the house also perfect due to the noise a group our size made. Owner really easy to work with. If we do this again next year will be trying to book this house.

We enjoyed our stay at the house! It was a beautiful property close to the Lake but set back to have some privacy! The house was spacious & worked well for our group! The host was very responsive & helpful - very willing to be accommodating to our group!

We celebrated my Mom's 88th birthday and had a great weekend together. We had plenty of room to be together and everyone had their own room for retreat and rest. The big dining table allowed us to eat together and easily transformed into game-playing.

We enjoyed or 4 day stay over thanksgiving with 3 generations of our family from all over the US. It was a good time to share Thanksgiving with each other. The house was large enough for our 20 people. We visited with each other, played games and some went into town to shop and look at the lake. The house was well maintained and comfortable.

This was an incredible house for our group. Rooms and bathrooms were plentiful. Even though there were close to 30 of us, we never felt like there wasn’t enough space. The home was very clean on arrival and the homeowners were very responsive before and during the stay. The “treehouse” was our favorite room of the house. Highly recommend for large groups!

House has everything you need, perfect for large groups with many varieties of rooms and most with private bathrooms. Only thing I wish is more flexible check in/check in times because we would’ve loved more time to enjoy the property. Location is extremely central to all sights in lake Geneva. Will recommend to friends in the future!

There were 20 of us staying at the Vbro. We had a family breakfast for 45 Saturday morning and the house was an excellent place to host it. We had all the supplies and room that we could ask for. Great place to be all under the same roof and sharing time together all weekend!! Thank you!!

The property was very spacious and well stocked. Close to golf courses and restaurants. Ample parking.

We had the pleasure of staying at the House in the Woods in August 2022. We needed a large house for a gathering of 20 adults and children and truthfully there weren’t a ton of options around Lake Geneva. We didn’t know exactly what to expect - but we were all blown away. SUCH a great property! The bedrooms were all large, with comfy beds (and most of them had private bathrooms). Our kids had a blast sleeping in the upstairs bedrooms (each of which have 4 single beds). The main floor kitchen was spacious and well-stocked - and it was great having another kitchen downstairs for extra fridge space. The living room was great but we did most of our relaxing in the all-seasons room or on the back patio around the fire pit. The kids loved being able to explore the backyard woods, which are just made for fort-building. The location was great - and we took advantage of the parking spaces near downtown. Tisha was incredibly responsive and helpful. Just a wonderful experience - HIGHLY recommended!

You'll be hard-pressed to find a better home to comfortably and enjoyable fit your large group! The bedrooms are almost all very big, most have either a private bathroom or semi-private. The common space is well large enough for eating and/or socializing, with great outdoor areas and a massive, very wonderful screened porch. And it's all clean, modern, and extremely comfortable. You just rarely find this high quality of a set-up for really large groups.

We used this place for an off-site meeting for work, but this would also be a great place for a family get away. Just 5 minutes from downtown, lots of privacy. The place was clean, the bedrooms, bathrooms, sunroom, kitchens, and firepit area were all great spaces. Lots of parking space available.

This house provided an amazing weekend for 5 family’s. Comfortable beds for everyone and a safe, clean house. Great yard and screened in porch. We will be back!!!!
