The pool

Apartments around arrange loud parties almost every night. We could not charge our phones and tooth brushes when outside the apartment and that was irritating - the power relay turned off everything when we took the key from the kitchen. Hot water in the bathroom and kitchen was only for a halv a minute every time we wanted to use it. Not even one person from the staff nor the owner speak english and the ad clearly said they do so the communication was hard

Location is great. About a 10-15min walk to Walmart, oxxo, and restaurants. The pool is amazing. Workers keep it clean every day. Apartment views are amazing. Location is secure. Everyone at the property is super friendly. The apartment is well maintained and clean. Apartment complex offers transportation from the airport to property which we took. Super efficient as we didn't need to bargain at the airport for a taxi ride. I definitely recommend renting a car as we couldn't figure out public transportation. Downtown Cancun is about a 30-40min drive. Super happy that we rented a vehicle. Tour companies will pick you up at a closest hotel chain near you. So rent a vehicle so you don't miss out on your tours. Uber is very limited.

Owner backed out from free transportation to the airport after renting the van for the whole week but I'm not going to harp on that.
