Our family of 3 adults came down from Canada for a concert. We chose this cute restored farm house as it was a mid way point from the airport and our concert destination. Susie was a super responsive host and has done a wonderful job of turning her grandparents home from the 1950s, into a rustic fun experience. All of the thoughtful touches from the vintage decor to the farm feel throughout, was so much fun, we loved it. I really enjoyed showering in the horse trough, I mean you can’t do that everyday! We were greeted each morning by Kali the farm cat, along with the cows in the pasture just outside our door. The beds were super comfy and we had great sleeps. Historic Downtown McKinney was full of charm and a real treat to check out, just a few miles away. If you would like a few steps up from camping, you’ll love this rustic experience.

We had a wonderful stay while in town visiting some family. Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet being off the beaten path. Communication was prompt and we had zero issues. Highly recommend this property and we will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Peaceful and relaxing stay at this farm while visiting my son in Plano. Everything was as described in the listing. Easy access to McKinney. Loved watching the cows with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend this property as an option to all the “standard” apartments/condo VRBOs in Plano. Very easy check-in and Susie was a great host.

Really enjoyed the original structures. It took me back to the 90 acres I grew up on.

This is such a cozy little farm house. It’s beautiful and authentic. The animals being there just makes it that much more real. They have a beautiful farm cat named Kali who was so loving. The fire pit made for great conversation.

Such a great weekend. Had dinner and entertainment in downtown McKinney with VERY short drive back to the farm to watch some Astros play in the World Series. Terrific Time and place.

We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises over the pastures and enjoyed watching the cows every morning. The even sunset was great and the campfire was great. Very cute farmhouse that’s been remodeled. I would recommend this property amd stay here again!

Amazing! We didn't want to leave. Susie is very quick to respond, if we needed anything! There is a sweet kitty that lives on the ranch and lot's of beautiful cows. My husband enjoyed fishing and I enjoyed the back yard and getting up with the sunrise. Susie was thoughtful with bath products, coffee and some other goodies. Only thing I wish she had was a sofa. We didn't enjoy sitting in hard rocking chairs for a movie. We didn't mind that there were no doors on the bedroom, as we traveled alone with our pet.

What a great little gem of a house, hidden right outside of the city and tucked away on a county road. My boyfriend and I stayed at the 1940’s farm to take a knife making class in Dallas for half a day. We wanted to stay somewhere unique and were not disappointed. The house was very cute and decorated with the farm-style, beds were comfortable, and kitchen ready for some light cooking. The unique and small touches like the galvanized bathtub, sinks, and soft towels and linens were great! Our dogs loved walking the long driveway in the mornings and evenings as well as one of the nearby parks (Erwin Park North Loop- 15 min away) SO worth it. There were a few cute restaurants in town but you definitely need reservations. Property is great for a small getaway weekend! AC window units worked fabulous in the summer too :)

McKinney is a short drive (couple of miles) away for dining and culture, but the house feels secluded and a world away from crowded places. There are tons of touches that made us feel right at home. Lots of land to explore and everything you need in kitchen and bath. Looking forward to going back.

This little farmhouse was the perfect weekend retreat for our family. Susie, the owner, was absolutely wonderful and accommodating during our stay. The property is very well-maintained and a unique experience that everyone loved. We will definitely be back to visit the farm and stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the farm last year so much that when our travels brought us back to McKinney we knew exactly where we wanted to be. Our 1 year old had a great time walking around and pointing at the cows in the pasture. Thank you!

We had a great time celebrating Christmas with our family at this farm house. The home is clean and inviting . It is had everything we needed . Susie is so easy to contact. She responds almost immediately .

This place was very comfortable and easy to relax and enjoy being away. It is a step back in time to a simpler life...no central air, no wifi, no tv in the bedrooms, and no dishwasher. It was fun! The views out each window are very nice, and the atmosphere created inside and out is wonderful. Worth a trip to check it out.

Very clean and I love the rustic look and feel. Great place for pets! Nice fire pit and everything you need to get it going. Beds are very comfy! Be sure to bring lots of warm clothing if the weather is cold, it will be chilly in the house.

This is the ultimate stay. We loved the farmhouse getaway and cows!

The Farm provided a quiet place for me to retreat. The home was decorated warmly and was clean. The bed was comfortable. The cat (outside) was friendly. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. It felt like I stepped back in time. I hope to return again.

Susie was very kind and responded quickly when I messaged her. The property was very clean and absolutely adorable! We loved her cat kali who was so sweet. We loved waking up and watching the cows in the pasture. Also very close to historical down town McKinney, restaurants, gas stations and shopping yet still tucked away in the beautiful Texas backroads. Wonderful get away, would highly recommend!

Host was very responsive and friendly. Charming and quaint like the photos! A fire was already set up for us when we arrived. Nice time with the SO and the service dog. Note: the bedrooms do not have doors.

Loved the home, so well done! We were cool, we had nature all around, and the decorations were beautiful! We loved it! It was perfect for us and our 2 dogs, and Susie was on the spot when we were booking and when we had questions. The location is a gold mine. Right outside of town and nestled into the country. Loved every minute I was on property. I will be back for sure

My wife and I stayed here in early August and had a ball. We were visiting family and friends in Mckinney. Great rustic features that reminded me of visiting with my grand parents back in the day. Pnty of room to have friends over. Very relaxing atmosphere. We will return soon. Andy H.

We stayed at this property while my son was participating in a baseball tourney with venues in the Melissa, Anna, Plano and McKinney area. It was a wonderful and relaxing getaway for us after his games. We both enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle and the beauty this property offers.

This place was So cute and perfect for our family! The property owner was so sweet and accomidating! If we're ever back in the area, would def stay here again!
