Overall was good. I made a mistake and thought it was a ground floor apt so was a little hard for us since we are older. But we did enjoy our stay. Beds and furniture could have been a little more comfortable.

Property is clean, well managed and convenient to beach, shopping and eateries. Also easy access to Ojai and surrounding trails for hiking. Looking forward to visit in the future to explore more of Carpenteria and surrounding areas. Manager Elena is a gracious hostess and responsive to questions and requests.

This was our second time staying in this lovely unit. Excellent location. Clean. Quiet. Nice layout and good accommodations. Perfect place to get away and relax at the beach!

Our three weeks in Carpenteria were wonderful. The town is quaint with cute shops and good restaurants. The location is perfect for day trips to LA, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez wine country and Solvang. Our favorite activity, though, was walking the beautiful beach in the sunshine. We even saw newborn seal pups on the beach at the seal sanctuary. After a busy day, we went back to the great condo. It was exactly as depicted - clean, and with a great kitchen and everything we needed to cook or go to the beach. We can't say enough about how kind and responsive both Elena and Mike, the owners, were if we had any questions or problems. We will certainly be back.

The place is exactly as pictured. Location is perfect with easy walk to beach, restaurants and shops. Everything was clean, fresh and spacious and we loved our time in Carpenteria. Easy check in and easy to communicate with hosts.

Location is great Beach is great. We brought a small dog and we enjoyed the marsh trails and the dog friendly beaches as well as the town and nearby Santa Barbara.

The kitchen appliances are very good quality, likewise the bathrooms (shower stall, showerhead, tiled wales). Beds very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Very nice apartment with extremely nice details. Michael was a very good host and super accommodating. Michael made sure we had everything we needed and our fridge was stocked upon our arrival. We liked staying here and would definitely go back again.

The apartment was updated like a brand new home. It had all the beach supplies and the fridge had milk. OJ, peanut butter, jelly, bread, eggs, water, butter and there was a bunch of individual cereal boxes in the pantry.

This apartment was truly gorgeous, so clean, and even stocked with groceries upon your arrival! The best place we have ever stayed in Carpinteria. The owners, Mike and Elena, are beyond gracious and accomodating. I would highly recommend this property!

The owners thought of every detail to make this rental super comfortable; black out curtains, a fully stocked kitchen ready to be cooked in, plush towels and beautiful bathrooms with fantastic water pressure!

The apartment was very clean, updated, and comfortable for our family of four. Michael goes above and beyond stocking it with essential pantry and bathroom items. We’ve rented numerous homes on VRBO and have never had a better experience. Our family would book her again.

This is a gorgeous apartment, well-equipped, and stocked with lots of fresh/unopened food. But the best part is the location, right across the street from a salt marsh nature preserve, and just a half a block walk to the beach. The beach is wide and beautiful and you can walk along it and then along a bike/walking path to tar pits and an overlook of a seal colony. It is so great to be able to do so much without getting in a car. We LOVED our time there.

This is a beautiful Apartment complex , lovingly restored to very high care and quality less than 100 yards from the beach. You could not do better than to enjoy this wonderful apartment(s) that are run with real care and attention by Mike and Elena, really wonderful people.

Such a wonderful unit and apartment building it is meticulous maintained and in a wonderful location. Owners have thought of everything you could possibly need! Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!
