O local é uma graça. Boa localização para quem pretende conhecer bem os cerros. Muito limpo e confortável.

The owners of the hotel live on site and achieved a perfect balance of giving us privacy but being available for recommendations as needed.

Une superbe maison d’hôtes pleine de charme toute de tableaux et de beaux parquets. Nous arrivions tard dans la soirée en bus et Cata nous a envoyé des contacts de taxis de confiance et nous a attendus avec le sourire malgré l’heure tardive. La chambre est très confortable et au calme, les hôtes ont accès à une petite terrasse sur le toit avec vue sur Concepcion et Alegre. La casa est située à la jonction entre les deux quartiers, une situation idéale pour les visiter. Café et thé offerts à dispo pour les hôtes le matin. Possibilité aussi de lui acheter des boissons fraîches. Je recommande vivement cet endroit qui est vraiment d’un beau standing pour le prix. Merci Cata !

Lovely, cozy place to rest your head in a magical city! Very comfortable room and beds, clean and modern bathroom, beautiful hardwood floors and big windows... Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend and would love to stay here again. This is a very pleasant place with incredibly friendly hosts. The hostess of the hotel sent us individual recommendations for visiting Valparaiso and was generally very friendly. The room has all the necessary amenities and it's nice to be here.

Absolutely beautiful property with lots of character. We loved our stay at Casa California. The location is perfect for exploring the city and we were made to feel so welcome. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and provided great recommendations for exploring the city.

Bathrooms were modernized and very well done!
Parking was a bit tight in the street but that’s no big deal. We were able to work around it. Call property for assistance, they are very helpful.

Fabulous location, the guesthouse was very tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. The owners spoke both English and Spanish and were very helpful and accommodating.

We liked everything about our stay. It was neatly tucked away along the street and quiet. But the best part was our hosts Cata and Johnny. We really appreciated your attentiveness and helping give us a great experience.
One recommendation is to let guests know that there is no sign on the property and to ring the bell upon first arrival at the door, but not a big deal.

Lovely restored house in a great location. Very friendly and helpful hosts who were more than happy to answer our endless questions. Comfortable room, great shower and a pleasant shared space to sit quietly outside

Breakfast was plentiful, of good quality, and fresh.
The ONLY suggestion for Casa CA is to have 1-2 luggage stands in the room. Luggage had to reside either on the floor, or on the only chair. No closet or way to hang clothes. One dresser/3 drawers (one drawer was full).

John was our host, cook and server, but also our conversation partner for breakfast time. Cata asked "what time would you like breakfast?" and John was there are ready for us when the appointed hour arrived.
Prior to that, however, it was great to have Cata reach out to us after our ship arrived, with directions, a variety of possible activities for our time in Valparaiso, and a cautionary word about our intention to walk from the port.
I did not quite understand how the shower worked, so had to get clarification after leaving the water running for some time and still only having cold. My ignorance...quickly informed by Cata, once I checked!

Wonderful, boutique hotel, which could not be in a better location for exploring Valpo. Jonny and Cata (The owners and hosts) have created a really unique space, that fits in perfectly with the colourful surroundings of Concepcion. Our room was light, clean, and comfortable and we partially enjoyed the walk-in shower. Cata was super helpful (and speaks fluent English and Spanish), advising us where to park, providing a warm welcome, and sending us a great list of sights, recommendations, and walking routes to make sure we got the most out of our visit. Would highly recommend staying here!

Rooms on the top floor were really nice and spacious, the bar at the entrance looked like a fancy 1920's bar with great decor
And i still think there might be some sort of hidden chamber somewhere around the house 😁

The entire hotel is beautifully designed and we loved the location in the heart of Valparaiso. The hosts also go above and beyond on the breakfast in the morning and answering any questions of the guests.

The guesthouse has a great location close to many nice spots for food and drinks. The room was very quiet and equipped with everything you could need. The breakfast was great especially as i was offered a vegan option.

The hosts were extremely welcoming. They helped inform us about the fun things to do in the city. The location of the hotel is surrounded by main viewpoints and attractions. But my absolute favorite part was the breakfast, it was delicious. No doubt I would recommend this place to stay.
