This home is a great location to be able to walk to multiple locations. Home was well equipped w/a few kitchen extras & beach towels.

Lovely place. There were issues with the hot tub that we never ended up using. A loud fan or motor would come on at various hours and the digital monitor would flash. We called the service number on a poster nearby. A guy from the hot tub company came out but said the service company was no longer in business, so he took the poster away. This may have been the service guy saying the hot tub company was no longer in business, it was confusing. Glassware and dishes were pretty disappointing for the price we paid, as well as the “starting” items like Saran Wrap ( none) Ziplock bags ( 2) for example. I think the propane for the grill was on vapors but we managed to get a meal done. We checked in at 4 and then around 4:30 a property attendant came in the house without knowing we were there, scaring the heck out of us. They had been told the floors needed vacuuming but we did not put that request in. no longer came ou

Our family visited Bend 7 years ago and loved it so much we decided we needed to do it again. We were familiar with the town and wanted to be within walking distance of downtown - which was a bit of a hike, but fine with us. What we didn't know was how great it would be to be so close to all the great Galveston options. All in all: Location -- I wish it was a tiny bit closer to downtown, but it was a great location in a nice neighborhood Property -- amazing! The primary suite in particular is top notch. The kids' closets provided ample space, but my adult daughter was a little cramped in the twin/twin room (it was fine, but might have been better for kids). The living space was perfect, clean and well appointed. (I also love the door codes -- so much better than using a key IMO) If we are lucky enough to be in Bend again, we will stay here or check out other Meredith Lodging options.

We were in town visiting my brother in law and this home was within walking distance of his house. It was very convenient, neighborhood was quiet, and the house was comfortable and clean. Beds were comfortable, amenities very helpful! We would definitely stay here again if we came back for another visit!

We enjoyed our stay in Bend. The location was in a nice quiet neighborhood and within walking distance of all the important things....coffee and food.

We spent the weekend here with our family and had such an enjoyable time! The house met all of our needs and then some! We especially loved the front porch swing, hot tub, comfortable modern living room, and the en suite bathroom/closet! We would love to stay here the next time we’re in town.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here. We arrived at 4:45 pm and the cleaning crew was there. Check in was 4:00. There was no apology or advance notice. We returned 30 minutes later and the cleaners were gone. Upon inspection, we noticed several things indicating a rushed cleaning such as kitchen trash not emptied, trash under furniture, dust bunnies, and cobwebs. We had tickets to a concert and our evening was a little rushed. The next morning we took the sheets off the beds, as instructed, and noticed a missing mattress on one mattress which was dirty and a stained pillow, gross. I have notified management and await resolution. Nice house, good location, not cleaned well and not ready on time.
