The house was clean and comfortable. It's about 10 minutes from downtown and just a few minutes from the state park and lake Erie. The host was good about getting back with us and giving us directions.

Our group stayed for 4 nights. Everything was provided right down to the dishwasher tabs and coffee pods. We did not need to purchase any "household" items. The kitchen was well equipped, beds we're comfortable and nice size bathroom. The location was convenient. The owner responded quickly I would recommend this house for anyone traveling through or staying in Erie.

This house is delightful! I chose it for the location, the bedrooms, and the comfortable size. The size allowed me to have my two sisters stay with me for the first few days, and I didn’t feel overwhelmed once they left. I felt very safe and secure in the location. Literally everything was provided for a move-in experience. That was SO appreciated! We bought a few foods, and we were done! The house was very clean, and checking in was a breeze. All needed information was provided in a very timely manner. Elise, our host, was always available and a pleasure to talk with. All in all, this house, it’s amenities, and it’s host made for a pleasant stay in Erie. I am so pleased I chose VRBO rather than a hotel, especially as a senior lady traveling alone. I will look to VRBO for future travel stays. Thank you.

The property sits on a main road in Erie that is just 5 minutes to Presque Isle, Waldemeer, and other local attractions like arcades & ice cream shops. The property sits back from the road, however, so the road noise is minimal. The property has smaller (but more than adequate) bedrooms, but the community areas are spacious and comfortable. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. My family consists of 5 children (including 3 teens) and we all had enough room to feel comfortable throughout our week's stay. We were able to shop at the local grocery store and utilize the crock pot for meals allowing us to save some cash and to enjoy our time. The owners were very easy to reach and answered questions quickly. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. After selecting many other properties over the years, we think we've found a winner and plan to use this property for local stays from now on.

Always a pleasure staying at Elise’s place as it has everything you need. So nice to have a 3 bedroom place for the kids to have their own bedroom. The location is perfect to get to everything Erie has to offer. Will continue to use Elise’s location when in need in Erie.

The house was easy to find, cute and clean. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen was well appointed, and there was ample linen and towels for our stay. The home location was very near to all the activities we enjoyed while we were in Erie.

I stayed here before (Feb '23) in the downstairs portion. I stayed upstairs this time. This was a convenient location for me, so worked out well. The host couldn't be any easier to work with. I think the place is a very good value for the price point. It is clean and comfortable, and I would certainly stay again.

My wife and I travel to Erie every Sept. We normally stay at a hotel but decided on this property for more room to spread out and the option to cook most of our meals. Check-in: the process couldn’t have been easier. The owner texted us the code for the lock box on the door. We were able to simply put the code in, grab the house key, and start to enjoy our 3 nights/days. The house is well appointed. An interior designer put their touch on the house so it’s not a mish mash of stuff. The interior is well thought out, clean, spacious and comfortable. There was only the two of us but the house has a master bedroom, 2 spare bedrooms, one bathroom, full kitchen, dining room, outside patio w/grills and garage (not to store your car but your bikes if needed?) The bed was ultra comfortable! I thought it compared to a mattress from a Marriott property. Lots of room to store personal belongings, plenty of lights, outlets and space. The bathroom had a washer/dryer, shower, toilet and sink. Once again, very spacious and clean. The kitchen was complete with accessories: pots/pans/dishwasher/Keurig machine for coffee/assortment of coffee pods/full frig… we brought our air fryer with us for when we didn’t feel like using the grill. The location is perfect. We were 5 minutes away from Presque Isle so we biked, hiked, and beached it everyday. It’s also very close to downtown Erie in case you’re looking for restaurants, ballgames, history, etc…. We met the owner when we arrived back from Presque Isle. She couldn’t have been any nicer to us! She’s so accommodating & friendly. Overall, this place is a gem. We’ll be going back to visit.

The house was immaculate, very well stocked and had great parking. The host was most helpful throughout the reservation process, checked in throughout the reservation timeline.

Very well maintained little gem at the lake- close to everything. we always enjoy having extra space to relax. Communication with Elise was wonderful and we certainly will book again in the near future.

Great place!

We had a short but great stay in this charming home near Presque Isle State Park. We were just passing through for a few days on the way to Cleveland and stopped to visit the park. Absolutely did not want to leave! The house is very clean, updated, and super comfortable. It is 2.5 miles to the gate of the park which was very convenient as we were back and forth a bunch of times in our short stay. The owners treat the rental more like a hotel stay with all the amenities. For example, we had paper towels, toilet paper, washing machine detergent, dishwasher soap, hand towels, trash bags, bed linens and bath towels, etc. Just bring your clothes and food and you're all set. Our teenagers appreciated the strong WiFi and we watched a movie on NetFlix in the evening. Can't thank you enough for the wonderful hospitality. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and family coming to the area!! Thank you Elise and Bob!

This darling property made a great home-away-from-home for our visit to Erie. The host and house were both perfect and we would definitely stay in this property next time our travels bring us to Erie.

Elise was very prompt when responding to my questions. The bedrooms were all nice and everything was very clean. It was between 5 and 8⁰ during our stay so understandably the rooms got a little cold when the doors were closed. We closed some living room vents and kept the doors open a crack and that fixed that. I imagine that wouldn't be a problem for others since it was unusually cold during our visit.
