The house was perfect and the location was beautiful!

Nice location, house/property clean, easy to contact owner. Do need to bring wash/dish cloths, had towels, need more than 2 trash bags for week also. All in all nice stay!

Prior to our arrival we got a detailed listing of all the items that the property had to offer, such as pool toys, cooking supplies--way more detailed that I have ever gotten before. We paid to use the Beach Club and I would highly recommend doing that. The climate control was very good. I would highly recommend this property--both for the house and for the owner who was very easy to communicate with.

Loved our stay at this beautiful home. Each couple had a king bed and private bathroom. It is a 30 minute drive to the city, but it wasn’t an issue as we wanted sand and sun. We loved the beach club and sunset beach with the lazy river pool, but the surf was our main attraction. I had some communication difficulties but there were no serious issues. The house was nicely appointed and it was clean and comfortable for our arrival. Our crew had a terrific week!

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and surprisingly spacious for 10 family members. The kitchen was well stocked. The addition of baby supplies was a bonus.

The location of this home is perfect, just a few steps to the crossover bridge. The kitchen is very well stocked and we loved that there are three kings size beds! We would come again for sure!

Good location to beach. Being a private beach made for fun time at beach. Little disappointed wasn’t a pool for neighborhood. Additional cost to use Beach Club for stay should be indicated before making choice of house. We did pay the $25 per person so we would have a pool. Overall did enjoy our stay and house.

The beach house was beautiful and you can’t beat the proximity to the beach. Our group of 10 (kids and adults) had an amazing time!

We had a family group of 5 adults and 6 kids (ages 1.5-10) and this home and location were perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of games and toys for the kids, plus baby gear for the toddler. The home was very close to the beach crossover - 2-3 houses over. The balconies were perfect for morning coffee, afternoon ice cream truck treats with the kids, and evening cocktails after the kids went to bed 😉 The owner was great at communication and anticipated our every need prior to our arrival. We love Pointe West for the private/vehicle-free beaches, family friendly atmosphere, and resort amenities - this will be our go-to Pointe West rental!

This is a great place to stay. Property owner responded to questions very quickly. Walk 3 houses away to get to beach walkway.
Has 2 decks where you can sit and listen and view gulf waves. Has toys and chairs available for the beach. Beach was nice and clean. Beach club has 2 pools which were very nice and not very crowded.

Our host was very fast at responding. We had 2 families of 4, and we were comfortable. The kids complained a bit about the top bunk beds being squeaky, but we were able to put 2 kids in the room on the main level. Overall, the house was great!

The house was the perfect size for our family. There were 3 couples and 4 kids.
The house was the best stocked on pots and pans, we have ever stayed in.
The house downstairs bedroom was warm if you shut the door, but as long as you left it open it was comfortable. The only complaint I have is there were 10 people in the house and only 8 bath towels. But, we had plenty of beach towels to make it work.

Family of 6 adults and 3 kiddos ages 7,4, 18 months. Plenty of space to spend time together and also have our own space. Pack n play and high chair was perfect! Beach towels, chairs, and toys were all nice to have available too. Love the decks and patio. Definitely would stay here again.

Overall. Our stay was fabulous. The mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable, but other than that, our stay was wonderful. Kitchen is fully equipped, house is very close to the beach

There were 9 in our party, including grandparents, 2 siblings, their spouses and grandchildren 3, 6 and 13. The King Rail house was a perfect accommodation for us. Some of the adults worked remotely during our trip and the wifi handled the traffic well. There was enough room for the workers to accomplish their tasks and other family members to play games in the living room. All the bedrooms were comfortable and 4 bathrooms prevented waiting for showers.
The kitchen was well stocked for family meals. Everyone enjoyed the privacy of the site and the easy beach access. The little kids loved swimming in the hot tub with their parents. .We did venture into town for a wonderful meal at Katie's and some go-kart and mini-golf adventures.
King Rail is highly recommended for a multi generation vacation

This house was perfect for my 3 daughters, their husbands and 5 month old twins. One of the best family vacations we have had in a long time. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The balconies were relaxing in the mornings and evenings. We definitely will return to this property.

Our end-of-summer family celebration was made perfect because of this stunning beachfront property! The views from the double decks were spectacular and the house itself was smartly appointed with everything necessary for a fun and relaxing weekend! We highly recommend this property!

The property was beautifully decorated and incredibly well stocked! there wasn’t a single time when we wished we had something and it wasn’t in one of the cupboards. Even had lots of boogie boards and toys for the kids. The owner was gracious and ever helpful!! We will be back!

What more could you ask for? Beautiful house right on the beach with gorgeous views. We loved sitting on the back porch watching the waves. The beach was only steps away! Property manager was very responsive, even had cleaners come in the middle of our stay. Definitely 5 stars 😄

Family Get Together in Galveston.
Our family of 10 ranging from 70 to 3 spent 4 nights at Elspeth’s beach house. Loved the 3 king sized beds for the adults and 2 sets of bunk beds for the cousins, ages 7 to 3.
The living area was furnished to seat our group and the kitchen table accommodated all 10 of us for meals. A very well stocked kitchen made meal preps easy and there were plenty of dishes. We did bring extra trash bags and paper towels but I bring those items to most vacation rentals.
A large drying rack came in handy for drying swimsuits and beach towels every evening on the deck. The deck had very comfortable furniture and a beautiful view of the ocean.
Point West is a quiet neighborhood with a nice clubhouse and 2 pools, right down the road.
We will look for this house next time we go to Galveston.

Great Family Beach House
We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was very clean and we found the beds super comfortable. We loved the great beach views as well as the easy access…Lots of beach toys for the kids to enjoy! Elspeth was very responsive when we could not find the beach wagon. She had someone see to it right away. Great property.

Nice house
The house was as described and true to pics. The various amenities are nice but require a drive to utilize. The beach access was steps away and easy to use. The closet outside did provide various beach toys, and chairs to use. The wagon was definitely needed to avoid multiple trips but almost wished I had also bought another from home. Overall everyone enjoyed the house and it’s great views.

Great choice
We had a great time! Home was very clean & close to walkover bridge. We rented a golf cart to easily get around Point West. I do wish there were more than 2 kitchen trash bags. We were 7 people for 6 days: 2 trash bags were not enough. Take trash bags with you. Otherwise all was great.

Beautiful ocean view
My sisters and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The view was amazing and the walk to the beach was short. The access to the beach club was fantastic as it allowed us to lounge by the pool. Elspeth provided great communication prior to our stay and during our stay! We hope to return in the future!
