Lovely little place, would highly recommend.
Communication from the owner was fantastic, place was clean and had everything we could’ve needed.

Nice location, beautiful view. Very quiet. Even more beautiful than described. Lots to do in the area. Our smallest son had a small accident and the owners immediately helped. So friendly. Highly recommended! We will definitely go back!

Comfortable bed and sitting area. Lovely patio and furniture.
Kitchen was a bit too small to do much cooking. Circular staircase to the upstairs was always in the way.

A couple of minor issues were rectified by the owner almost immediately and fully resolved the next day.

A lovely well equiped cottage at an perfect location nearby Canterbury surrounded by a lovely garden. Unfortunately when we arrived we where very dissapointed to see that the cottage was not cleaned well. It was if it was cleaned up in a hurry(bathrooms, washdischer, fridge,...) Whe didn't even put our food in to the refridgerator. The kitchen is well equiped but wornout. We rented it because of the high scores it got but we have to disagree. It is lovely there but it needs more attention!

Lovely location, doesn’t take long to get to tourist places. Spacious property with everything needed for our stay.
It was all good. If there was a problem, the owners are on hand to get it sorted.

As advised the keys were in the door at the property.. we’ve stayed there previously so knew the format
Could possibly do with a gate so dogs can not encroach on the privacy of their personal space

The one thing i would say as we had a big dog is maybe to put a gate between the two gardens, there is a barrier at the moment but its very thin and is she wanted to my dog almost definitely could get through but not a major thing at all

Great little holiday house for a staycation. Beautiful area by the orchards, wonderfully quiet, I couldn't fault the cleanliness and set up. Sarah has clearly thought of everything. Best of all, she was so welcoming to my big dog and I felt totally at ease staying at the cottage because of that. Perfect for all our needs, truly lovely.

Fantastic well appointed cottage, a regular home from home. 5 miles from Canterbury and 10 from the coast. The cottage was easy to find due to precise directions, had plenty of parking and an enclosed garden which also meant we had a happy dog. Highly recommended, would definately stay again.

We loved the warm and cosy cottage. Everything was there. The kids and us had the perfect holiday. Even the dog had a blast in the Orchard. Great location for visiting London by train, Whitstable, Canterbury, the seaside, Leeds castle with the Christmas lights. Sarah was such a sweet host. Thank you for having us. Tip: bring wellies for visiting the Orchard. It's so pretty!

the property was located in a perfect position quiet and peaceful surroundings but not to far from the centre at all. property was clean and tidy. everything we needed with a 3 month old baby! perfect for what we needed!

Lovely host, beautiful location, comfortable cottage
No instructions for managing heating, oven,etc. Kitchen utensils and kitchenware needed washing and cleaning or to be replaced, and foodstuffs from previous guests need to be discarded .

Nice place to relax, quite ambience, highly recommended for a proper break from city life.
Heating wasn't properly working throughout the cottage.

It was a peaceful serene place away from the city noise. The property was very neat and spacious. My kids felt at home. The host Sarah is the nicest person I’ve met in my life. She should be in charge of world peace 😁 I recommend Orchard Cottage if you’re looking for a great place and a kind host.

The accommodation had everything you need, it was easy to find and there is parking available. We did not meet Sarah personally but she did reply quickly via text to any queries we had. My husband particularly liked the walk to the orchard as it was safe for our dog, although after rain a few muddy paws, but a quick wipe down and all good again.
The property partly goes over the little cottage next door and you can easily hear slamming doors and talking very late at night.

Location of property, off road parking, Bed comfortable, Garden was pretty. Nice walks in and around the Orchards .
We hadn't realized the property was semidetached, to the other holiday let.
This may not bother many people.
But our dog barked every time the people next door banged the doors and slammed the gate shut. We were forever trying to keep him quiet.
