This hidden gem of a vacation property, tucked away in the middle of the mountains. Surrounded by nature, close to the mountains, with a location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The property itself was a dream - complete with a hot tub and pool table, it offered the perfect balance of relaxation and fun activities. The home was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with all the amenities one would need for a cozy snowed-in day or simply enjoying life away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a serene retreat in nature!" We visited Sugar Mountain for skiing, The Crestwood restaurant, downtown Boone and enjoyed daily visits in the hot tub, video games, and playing pool.

Great location, very clean, tons of amenities. After it snowed a crew came and salted the drives, and porches/stairs. About 15 minutes to app ski, and about 6 minutes to Starbucks in Boone.

We hope to stay here again!

Spacious, comfortable and updated property in secluded woods but just 15 minutes to Boone. Comfortable beds, nice linens and plenty of dishes/silverware and kitchen cookware*. *Could use new 9x13 pans if someone wanted to roast veggies. It has a wrap around deck and the propane fire table actually worked. The hot tub was the best we've ever been in! Be aware that the approach is a gravel road with numerous potholes so the first ride up might be scary but a slow, cautious drive and a Subaru could handle it. Some personal amenities we expected were missing but one call to John and everything was taken care of quickly. You can tell the house has sentimental value but it's also very modern and even has google for a great music selection.

This cabin is stunning! Beautiful peaceful and secluded home, love the fireplace and the kitchen. So welcoming and warm and hands down the BEST hot tub. Love the pool table and the arcade, wish I never had to leave! Thank you again to my wonderful gracious hosts ❤️

The house was just as advertised. Once you travel the steep gravel driveway to get to the house, the house does not disappoint. We were struck at how quiet it is at the property. The hot tub is very nice. If you are looking for a nice place to go to unplug from a busy work/personal life, this place is it. And its a quick drive to get into beautiful downtown Boone which has a little of everything. Very nice vacation!

We stayed for a weekend at this listing and it was as great as advertised. Hot tub was awesome. We were close to other houses/cabins, but it felt completely secluded. So very quiet.

Location was outstanding and John the owner took care of everything, even having people salt the deck during the ice and snow these Floridians were unaccustomed to. Beautiful home!

This mountain house is just perfect! Exactly as described and very well appointed. Bring food and drinks and you never have to leave! We thoroughly enjoyed the large hot tub and playing pool. Plan to stay again!

Quaint & clean mountain cottage. If you are looking for a quiet mountain getaway close to shopping, restaurants, ski rentals and slopes this is the place. Our favorite part was relaxing in the hot tub after a full day of skiing. The host is super friendly and attentive:)

Great place to stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and worked great. The owner was available via text to answer our questions.

Beautiful, clean and secluded home, close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Gorgeous kitchen, big family room, comfy beds, and a wonderful deck with hot tub and fire pit. Close to great hiking trails. The host is very attentive and obviously cares that his guests have a good experience. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin, wonderful hot tub and very quiet, serene setting with the exception of the neighbors barking dog that made it slightly impossible to go outside and enjoy coffee in the morning. Host has gone above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and taken care of with rooms, well equipped kitchen, nice linens, etc. very close to downtown Boone, but you feel like you’re remote. Great place to decompress.

Our stay was amazing. The host checked on us throughout our stay. The hosts even provides us with tickets to a July 4th show and fireworks! The house is clean and cozy. Everything your need for a weekend or a week is provided! We loved every minute and we were so sad to leave! We will definitely be back again soon!

The property was very well stocked. Probably the best I've seen in the handful of places I have rented like this. The house is very comfortable and welcoming. The AC units provided more than enough, even found myself getting too chilly in the middle of June. The hot tub was clean and ready for use. Very relaxing since my husband was in Boone for a bike ride in the mountains. Everything was very clean. The drive up to the house was a little nerve racking the first time since it is a single lane gravel road for the final half mile or so. Not very steep but a gradual climb. After coming and going a few times it got easier. Missed the house number the first time, but it is very secluded and you feel like you are all alone up there even though you can technically walk to the neighbors in minutes. Felt like a fancy treehouse sitting on the porch. I would definitely stay there again or recommend it to friends visiting the area.

Great location, close to town but feels like you are in complete solitude. Don't let the being in a neighborhood fool you. Very secluded. Great amenities, well appointed property. The game room, wifi, TVs, and hot tub were all such hits. The porch is wonderful to sit outside with a coffee, beer, or glass of wine. Definitely will return!

Great place, exactly like the pictures and description. I've booked with VRBO before but this is the first time the owner messaged me every night to check up on us. This goes a long way for me. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone. Location was secluded but within minutes from Boone and blowing rock.
