Location was fantastic. Cute neighborhood in Tennyson> Clean property, Wonderful Host - came to greet us> gave us many suggestions for places to eat> friendly. House was super clean and well put together.

Our private queen room could have used a full length mirror.

The space is great -- quiet, very clean, great amenities. Our room had an air conditioning unit which really helped cool off the room at night. The backyard space is also so nice and quiet. It feels more like an AirBnb than a hostel! It was the perfect spot for a weekend trip.

The beds weren't the most comfortable.

The ideal stay - well maintained house in a good neighborhood. Bed was very comfortable and common area was clean and accessible.

Couldn’t figure out the hot water in the shower. But it was summertime so I only used cold water anyway.

Location, privacy, care

Friendly owner. Spotless. Great location -- 9 minute drive to Museum of Contemporary Art downtown, 7 block walk to lots of restaurants. Strong wi-fi... it maxed out my phone, even inside my car across the street! Pleasant neighborhood: nicely maintained homes and yards, families with young kids. I will definitely come back!

My room was pretty warm: no AC, just fans... though it's July and hot outside. (The main part of the home was cool.) I was glad I had my own bath soap and shampoo; they aren't supplied, though I got a very nice towel. We take shoes off at the door (which keeps the place clean!), but the floors are shiny and could be slippery... you might want to bring some slippers with tread on the bottom or some of the "grippy" socks they give you in a hospital.

Location is great. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Neighborhood is amazing. Homes are an eceltic mix of historic craftsman, utilitarian, modern and more.
