This home offers a lot of privacy and a ton of space to park many cars and trailers. We stayed during the summer, but I can imagine it would be a great place to rent in the winter for snowmobilers. The entryway is large and open with plenty of hooks to store your stuff. The basement and main level has plenty of room to gather. We had 9 people and we all had plenty of space to sleep. Bathrooms were well stocked and clean. The kitchen had lots of counter space and new appliances. There are numerous tvs and all worked well. There are two air conditioners that cooled the house well but we had some hot days so we did need to keep the bedroom doors open at night to stay cool. The deck off the back has a large heater that would be nice on a cool night. There is a Blackstone griddle to cook on. There is a bonfire area with plenty of chairs. Just a few miles down the road is The Bear Trap Inn which had good food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). It is a short drive to Munising which offered plenty of restaurants and shops. Also, about 20 minutes away is the town of Christmas. Foggy's Steakhouse had great steaks and fish (we went 3 times). There is also a Kewadin casino there. We rented a pontoon boat one day and saw the Pictures Rocks shoreline which included amazing beaches and waterfalls. But oh boy the flies were crazy on the water - bring repellent if you have some that works. If you are a golfer, drive to Marquette and play Greywalls (AMAZING!). Overall great place to stay!

House was supplied very well with lots of plates, cups, and kitchen items. Beds were comfortable. Best part was right next to trails. We rode our side by sides to Munising, Autrain, Grand Marais, Seney, and Curtis.

We greatly enjoyed our trip to the pictured rocks area. The house was very spacious and was one of the most well appointed houses I have ever stayed in. They had everything we needed. The house was decorated beautifully with Barnwood and copper accents . The beds and linens were very comfortable. The couches were soft and cozy. The amount of bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for everyone in my family to have their own space and to spread out. My kids loved the dart board. The connecting garage was a lifesaver to protect us from the mosquitoes. It was a very easy drive to the Pictured Rocks areas and to several waterfalls and hiking trails. I would definitely stay here again and stay for longer next time. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! The owners were very good at communicating. Great bar/entertaining area! The only downside was the bedroom in the basement. You can hear everything from upstairs and also the heat going on and off is loud so put the deepest sleepers in that room lol.

Was a great clean house for 11 of us to stay in. Downstairs bar was great and beds were comfortable.

The house and property were great and being right off the trail was awesome for snowmobiling! Property manager was quick to respond, very nice and helpful!

Stayed for a long weekend with my son’s and his future in laws and had a great time. Home is updated and has all you need. Basement with bar was amazing and a great gathering place for some beverages and POV fights. Set in a wooded area and able to build a fire and great star gazing at night. Perfect for our group of 10.

We didn't know what to expect as we have never been to the u.p. As soon as we pulled up to the house we were blown away with the location, the size of the house, and the beauty in it all! It's close to everything and literally linked to the orv trails. It wasn't amazing experience and we will definitely be back

My family enjoyed our stay here. The inside of the home offers alot of space for our family of 9 to spread out. The kitchen was fully equipped and made cooking meals easy and fun. It snowed on us a couple of time, so it was nice to be able to park our vechicles in the garage.

A beautiful, modern home secluded in the woods for tons of privacy. Very near Pictured Rocks, easy access to hiking and all outdoors activities. Well-appointed, comfortable, clean.

It was wonderful stay. Full kitchen with wonderful plates, Wine glasses for dinners. We did not have to bring soap, paper towels, spices, coffee, sugar, which was great. We love it and will be back. The house doesn’t have curtains so we covered some of the rooms with the towers for the kids. Grill was great and heater lamp was plus.

Home was located about 10miles from Munising where all the pictured rock activities are located. We enjoyed being able to come home and use the grill for dinner after a busy day. Very clean and well equipped

Would highly recommend this home for family vacations! Beautifully decorated, clean and location is nice and secluded! Only suggestion would to hang blinds in all rooms!! Bedrooms did not have any! Other than that felt like home!

Traveled with our family of 4 and friends with family of 4. This place was so good! Everything updated and modern. Located off the beaten path - tons of trails right around. Kids loved the bunk beds. Only 15 minutes from the beach and waterfalls. Comfy beds, huge kitchen with all the utensils you'd need. Garage for 2 vehicles. Made stores outside - fire pit and grill. Great little escape that's in the Midwest. Thank you!

Newly renovated and very comfortable- we enjoyed our eight day stay here immensely. In a very peaceful setting backing onto and surrounded by woods, the house was clean and had everything you’d possibly need. The kitchen had all the utensils and cookware plus nice additons like a nutri-bullet, slow cooker and Tupperware to use. There were plenty of pantry items as well. Beds were comfy and clean. It’s a great base to explore the UP from and we’d definitely consider coming back.

We just got back from our stay at the house and it was great! We had two families, total of 9 people, including kids 6y.o. - 15 y.o. The house is close to everything (Miners Castle ~10 min, Chapel Falls ~ 20 min, downtown Munising ~ 25 min, Au Train ~ 35 min, Marquette ~ 50 min). Beautiful, private setting! SPOTLESS! Brand new! Top notch appliances and finishes! HOT water, good pressure, no residue! PROS: - general location - end of the street with huge private, driveway, front and back yards - XL refrigerator with ice/water dispenser, we brought our groceries and were able to fit enough for two families! - 2 Large drink/wine coolers - tons of cabinet space - new large grill - fully stacked with silverware, dishes, grilling utensils, spices, tupperware, foil, cling etc.... - open concept - very friendly and accommodating management CONS/SUGGESTIONS: - WiFi is extremely spotty and weak, especially with 9 people in the house. I realize that it's not what UP is known for, however, beware. Download kids movies and games ahead of time. As well as MAPS of the entire UP area - No recycling services. If we knew, we would have taken our recycling back home with us - would like to see some kinda shelf/bench in the master bathroom for extra stuff - No blinds on windows makes it hard to sleep-in Our suggestion for the first day activity is Miners Castle overlook and 2.5 mile hike to the beautiful beach. We got there at 4pm and were back at the house for dinner. We would definitely be back! So much to do in that beautiful area! Comfortable house took the stress out and made it easy to travel with kids!
