No hay comida la mayor parte del tiempo, no hay room service. El spa solo tiene masajes , no tiene jacuzzi, sauna ni ningún otro servicio.

I was blown away by the room. It's huge and beautiful. The balcony with the water feature outside was stuning and so calming. I spent many hours just sitting on the balcony reading or meditating. The location is also amazing. It is right smack in the centre of everything and yet so quiet and peaceful. Just overall exceptional and will be back for sure.

お部屋もお食事もサービスも、これ以上ないくらいにすべてが素晴らしいです。目の前は桂川と渡月橋ですし、徒歩3分ほどで有名な竹林ですし、嵐山の駅もありますから、ロケーションも素晴らしいと思います。

ホテルには関係ありませんが、嵐山に宿泊する際の唯一のチャレンジは夕食ではないかと思います。嵐山付近はお店が閉まるのが早いので、通常の時間の夕食の選択権がかなり狭まります。もしホテルのレストランで召し上がらない場合は (1) 早めに召し上がるか、(2)どこかを予約しておくか、 (3) 京都市内などで召し上がる、など、ちょっと考える必要があるかもしれません。でもホテルにとてもすばらしいフレンチレストランがありますので、滞在期間のうちに一度はホテルで召し上がることをおすすめします。

air conditioning not working, they selectively turn it on and off. the dials in your room don’t control it, it’s controlled by a main switch. I had a lot of trouble sleeping as a result, was quite frustrating

The a/c was an issue and the lack of available transportation to other areas was frustrating. A couple of days we requested to have our room cleaned and it didn’t happen

The property had a modern layout in the middle of Arashiyama located nearby many restaurants, cafes, & shops, and 5 mins walk from the bamboo forest.

We stayed at the Maisonette room which has 2 rooms (one of them being on the upper floor) and a living room. It was very disappointing that the window view in all rooms was blocked with bars and you can't see anything or get sunlight inside. The A/C was not working and couldn't be fixed so we had to keep the windows open as the room was too warm. Apart from that, the water pressure of the sink was very weak and no warm water was available. When booking the room, it stated on Booking that the hotel provides laundry services but they informed us that they don't which was misleading. Being a 5 stars hotel in a touristic area, there should be in-room dining or a bar during the evening as everything is closed and the nearest open restaurant is about 25 minutes by car. The pictures on the website give the impression that the hotel facilities are operating all day however, they close early at 7 pm and you're left with no options.

The breakfast was absolutely spectacular. From the waiters, the scenery of Arashiyama and its famous river and mountains, and the abundance of different bread! i also loved how clean the rooms were and the gigantic size of the bed. I have never seen a bed that wide. It honestly could sleep 5 adults.
